[HTC-PRO] [04/02/09] ATR 30 Manila/Rhodium TF3D (build 21028)

I just flashed to this ROM about a week ago after reading about it on another forum,
In the topic I read about this ROM having obnoxious 2-3 day battery life...
After a week of letting the battery sync up with the software, even letting the battery die to fully re-charge it, I still get similar battery life to other ROMs I tried (Mighty and juicy). Is there a reason for this?

I will more than likely stay with this ROM, it's pretty nice... but I'd really like to get that 2-3 day battery life that TaylorWckediden talked about.

yeah man, it usually depends on what you do with your device and how much you are doing. With only 20-30 texts, a couple of phone calls and light internet surfing you can get about two days but if you are a heavy user like me you should usually last about a day...also if you haven't already, on every rom you should always go into start/settings/communications and uncheck the recieve all beams. that will dramatically increase your battery life on any rom

i do the same as you and i get atleast 2 days charge... and basically i call a lot and send hella text... but i just make sure i turn off phone right after each use... well put on standby... but try soft reset or reflashing... if you go through the phone in a day it may be because of reception also... and that's nothing you can change... also roaming may effect it also...

Roaming is bad for the battery bro bc most of the time while roaming ur phone will turn on and sometimes u dont notice its on which means lost of power

if you dont have unlimited roaming you will be paying huge amounts.... if you have that included in your plan that your good to go without worries on roaming.... all roaming consists of is using other towers from different providers so you have good signal.

I just re-flashed, and my settings>Buttons is completely empty.
I used to use the long press talk key for rotate screen, so this is relatively important to me.

did you hard reset and take the battery out after a flash?

If your internal storage is gone and you cant get it back, go here and follow the steps. Its a hotfix, the problem is pretty common.

I got the internal storage back, but I'm still missing any ability to set my buttons.

I flashed to the sprint stock ROM, then flashed to this ROM, then hard reset after that.

Last time I flashed to this rom (about a week ago) the settings > buttons menu had a bunch of "Button"s there, about 6. The first five did nothing, and the last was the long press talk key.

This time, I downloaded the ROM again yesterday and flashed today. The settings > buttons menu has nothing in it, it's blank.

Okay.... the buttons came back after I finished setting up my phone, installing all that I normally do when I flash.

I'll get back to you guys in like a week with any information about my battery power.

I've been using this Rom for about 2 weeks now... and this is the only things that bother me...

Battery works fine for me just on the phone it still shows it's charging when it's disconnected and it shows a full battery bar, i have to check it manually to see the actual battery life... another thing too is sometimes the phone freezes and the keyboard shows up everytime i soft reset and when using T9 i type and when i slide my finger to select the work it goes into a different tab...

also my right selector doesn't work... if i want to go right with the pad it won't work... (i don't mind but it gets annoying wit selecting the word from T9... won't go right... can't select so i have to go back to abc)

text are not in order when i send or recieve sometimes i send and the text will be in the middle of the threaded messaging... instead of in a list...

When i get into the programs sometimes the keyboard gets stuck on selection so i can't see below the black bar that shows up with the keyboard... so sometimes i cant' read the name of the app... don't matter but it happens...

The good things....

It boots up super fast... if i use it hard all day... it lasts me till the night time.. heavy calling internet surfing downloading and chatting... it also works great as in for response... takes a second but as soon as it's running.. its RUNNING...lol... The programs start fast and the inserting of cabs is fast... the comp doesn't slow down.. i have tons of stuff i've added and it's still running like a champ...

the sensitivity of the g-sensor is great the skins are nice... and the camera works perfect... zoom is smooth.. there no problem adding music very easy...



IF anyone has answers to fix those problems please let me know... and if theres answers already in this post please don't beat me... just wanted to mention the problems i had...

OTHER THAN THAT I STILL SAY I AM ON THIS ROM"S JOCK... it's dope.. just a few probs.... like any other rom... WONDERFUL!!!

o and the the full keyboard is selected even though i select it compact qwerty in both the text and manual in input in the settings menu.. sorry that too... lol...

nice set up on the touch flow but u lost me at windows 6.1. but i will get your rom when u get that 6.5 cuz its tight work.........Seriously please make that and have the picture rotate automatically with g sensor

umm... ok.. can you see the release date? this is an old ROM... they didnt have 6.5 ROMs out that were stable when this was released... im sure on ATR next ROM things will be worked out.

I installed the rom a couple of days ago love the rom one problem though when I go to settings wallpaper it takes forever to pull up pictures, everything else works great so far but I like to change my backgrounds alot so if there is a fix I would love that. besides this one little problem this has been the best rom. And by the way I am useing the tf3d version not tf3d2. hope someone can help thanks:soldier:

Do you have a lot of picture when you open that folder on your phone if you do that would be the reason why it is so slow to load.

No I do not know what the problem is I install the rom it works great then I install my programs and I try to do it one by one so I can narrow down the problem because it even does it with the stock rom. by the way if I needed to go back to the stock rom what do I do to get rid of the atr start screen? I will keep working on it to give you more detail when it happens My pictures load rediculusly slow and my camera stalls will not load and tf3d take forever to start. so if any one has come across a fix or tweek for this please let me know thanks.

hey guy running tfd2 and I love it it has the features and look i'v been looking for this is by far the best rom I have tried one thing I would like to fix in my running programs tab in the top rigtht conner the start file is always there and if you close it it has to restart tf3d want to know is there any way to move that so I dont actidentley close it thanks PS I know this is off subject but can you give me a good link to a thread about music download my phone wont play my sprint files anymore and looking for good places to find new mp3s. Once again great rom and hope I am not out of line in any way with my question thanks

you need to unlock your phone using the hardspl unlocker for your device.... folllow the tutorial for flashing roms located in my signature below.

I do it before to install your ROM and I flashwith other but with you ROM rejected the ROM.

My TP had the HardSLP Unlocker I installed other ROM'S before your's
Yesterday I download you ROM but for the errors I decide to delet from my files.
So now I am tring to download again from RapidShare buit it was imposible for many times.

what u need to do is UNLOCK ur phone and THEN flash to ATRrom.. there shouldnt be a problem if ur downloading the rom from RapidShare, PLEASE read the thread on Flashing roms before u start asking questions

Any way, Thank you I told I unlocked my TP (installed many other ROM'S) but with your ROM it was imposible installing send a error and said the ROM it's is not for this version.

I dont know what u mean by that but bro im trying to help u, and from what i can see is u need alot of it.. shows ur using a Touch Pro and trying to flash to a Diamond rom?? come on, if u read the rom flashing thread u would see that u can only use TOUCH PRO roms on the TOUCH PRO try flashing this rom, its the ATR3 ROM [ TOUCH PRO VERSION !! ]

the only time you get that is when your not unlocked........ you need to unlocked using hardspl 0.37

I have never had that problem when i was running this rom. Did you hard reset and pull out battery after flashing ?

yeah the rom runs fine for a few weeks, I text alot sometimes on screen sometimes keyboard... but for some reason when i was done sending a text after using the on screen T9, the abc letter dissapear and only thing up was numbers and symbols..

You can always try a hard reset maybe it was a app you installed or something. Or reflash the rom too.
