OMJs 109 v3 Custom Diamond ROM w/ User Customization Updated 12/4/08

This is my custom ROM based on the stock Sprint ROM, with the original Sprint Neon M3D icons, and added white flip clock. This rom has carrier customization removed & user customization added, so yes, it's ok to let it run.

Many of you are familiar w/ my Custom Touch roms, so you already know I not one to follow the popular trends of changing my base/sys/xip on a weekly basis.

Before flashing this ROM, you MUST be Unlocked!!!

Q: What is the thin line at the top of the screen?
A: VistaHide Battery Guage, to remove, delete the link in \windows\startup

Q: The Weather Database Editor is giving me an error on launch
A: There are 2 manilla files that are read only, that need write access. To fix this, extract the 2 files into \windows fttp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Diamond/Users/OMJ/Tools/Weather_Database_Editor_files.zip

Q: How do I disable QuickMenu?
A: Start\QuickMenu\Exit\Yes

Q: How do I add more links on the Internet widget?
A: Copy opera6.adr from \windows\Opera9 to your pc, open in notepad, add your favorite links, copy back to \windows\Opera9

And just incase someone might be wondering, the User Costomization, or UC, means that you can set it up that all your .cab files on your sd card will automatically install to thier default directory. You can prepare this before hand so that they install as part of the initial setup, or after the flash is done. Its especially usefull for when you go from a ROM with UC to another ROM with UC. It makes customizing your phone like its yours again a snap.

no rom really is better than another if both are stable. i personally talk to oldmanjenkins and juicy some and both have very stable roms but totally different styles... try it out and let us know :>

So far so good im loving how there are many built in programs and games not sure on battery life yet not laggy either

just checked and fine, its through the ppcgeeks ftp so you have to be logged in there to download it.
