Power Button
I've been installing a lot of Dash's mods and downloads. Everything has been working fine except for one thing, whenever I have a program open (like pie) for awhile and my screen goes black to conserve power, when i hit the power button to wake the phone back up, it automatically exits out of pie and takes me back to the today screen. This happens whenever I have anything but the home screen open. Is there anyway to fix this problem? The programs are still open when I use quick menu or task manager, I just don't want the phone to exit out of the program when the phone starts to sleep.

hmm that weird i havent seen this porblem before but i will diig into it more....but first just do a soft reset for know tell mw if that clears some thing up

hmmm go to start/setting/system/power
andhmmm go to start/setting/system/backlight you can change those settings to a longer tim tel me if that helkps you they are probably set to a hshorter time

I tried that too. It doesn't work. Its not that my backlight doesn't last long enough, its when it goes off that I have that problem. Isn't the screen just supposed to wake up after u push the power button, as opposed to it exiting out of the program you were in? Maybe I should just but the backlight on the longest time. It won't fix the problem, but it will keep my program running.

hmm its suposed to just turn the screeen off not terminate the program a program you have may be confliucting with that
i whanna say do a hard reset that might do it but lets wait to see what one of the other staff members has to say about it

basically when the screen turns off it minimizes the screen and for certain programs closes out of it to save battery power otherwise it would be draining the battery when the phone went into sleep mode. there is no fix for this and wouldnt want one myself or there would be alot of peopple with dead bateries from something stupid going on in the phone.... even all scrolling and plugins on my homescreens are temp disactivated when i hot the power button or the pghone goes into sleep nad than restarted when i turn it back on.... hope this clears this up for you some.
