HTC Touch display quality

I'm trying to decide if I'm going to keep my Motorola 9Qc or go with the Touch. How does the screen compare in terms of brightness, sharpness and glare? The Q9c's screen isn't that much smaller, but it's real bright and sharp (and I have no outdoor issues). I haven't actually seen a Touch yet (and only have 7 days to make a choice between the two). Any advice would be appreciated.

go with the touch bro cause its touch screen and has alot of cool mods and there isnt too much glare aslong as you get a screen protecter and its real bright and clear

also if you search the touch forums under the help desk you will find a thread pages long on this including links for screen savers.

I tried doing a local search to see if anyone has made a comparison, but there were no posts with "Q9c*". I thought, because the Q was such a popular phone that there had to have been someone who has had both and could compare the screens. Th Q is my point of reference. Saying something is good, or is a 10 without a reference point isn't that informative.

well ive playe daround with the q for a while and hated it.. but thats my opinion.. and once you go touch screen you can never go back... i ob=nce picked up a smartphone and tried tapping the screen and it didnt work lolz... it personal opinion bro the onlything someone can tell you that a phone is better or not is hardware bassically and prices witch the touch with a plan is pretty cheap but with out it is still less expensiver than the other ppc phones

This is only my opinion, so take this for what its worth....

The Q sucks. Now way around it. There is nothing even remotely exciting about it and its buggier than Sprints Razrs...okay maybe thats stretching it.

The QC9 is supposedly better (than the Q) and I havent seen any yet as a tech, but I dont trust them. There is no doubt.....CHANGE YOUR PHONE. Heck, even if you dont go into a touch...exchange that turd.

i had the honor of getting one for free on my way to work from the local spritn store since they are avid readers and posters of the forums as many of you know. ibve been dinking around with the my new Q9 my touch and my mogul and the screen comparisons go like this and the reasons why.

Q9- 6-10- this is because the light reflect very oddly off of the screen and seems to be very suseptable to finger prints even if the screen is only grazed by a finger.

Mogul- 8.5 very nice quality not as good as the touch but overall very nice crisp color and the lack of glare is a plus.

Touch- 9.0 very nice color and vibrant screen only complaint is when you look at the screen from an angle it looks a little odd its actually quite hard to explain lol....

but i would go with the touch over the Q any day since its a ppc thats windows mobil powered and it is much more reliable for everyday use than the Q9 is

touch is okay..... im on about my 3rd week with the phone. i used to have a Q and i miss it. im getting better at this phone but i personally was way faster at everything with the Q vs Touch. screen was never an issue on either phone.

camera still sucks on either phone. some touch pictures display wierd.... cant describe

i think they both have the same reception strength.

and um thats about all i can think of

oh yeah.... battery life is about the same & touch loads programs faster (such as Windows live)

give yourself a little more practice with the touch screen touch and you will get used to it and never want to go back to just a smartphone again and will be addicted your PPC. i had a big swing on my first ppc i went from the nextel i930 to the treo 700WX took me bout 2 weeks or so to get the hang of the differences and than 1 month total to have everything mastered and no what every file and what to tweak in the registry from dinking with it and reading up.
