D/\SH'S Custom HTCHome Image Pack

Well heres my first release for the htc home customozer icons, tabs, weather, and clock fonts. these have been worked on over the past month or so and consist of bout 25 clocks and 15 weather and 15 tabs in this package. tell me what you guyz think about this.

this link all you have to do is open the hhc folder and copy the folders inside to the files into the home customizer folder named files and your done and will have all my customs and soe of my favorites. http://rapidshare.com/files/95301771/hhc.zip.html

thanks took a lil bit of time for me to do them and get them all resized but i was happy with the outcome that came from them..... and glad that you like them

ok cool cool glad you got it you just bring to regular folders and than once you do that all you have to do is add them to the customizer..... and thanks im glad that you like them and find them to be usefull.

where can i find these folders?
i have ur custom clocks and all but i dont kno where to put them?
i went to program files for the hcc folders but dont have anything there

all you have to do is right click and extract foles to the desktop. than you will have an individual folder for each clock, tabs, weather set. than you click and drag over to the htc home customizer through activesync in the correct folders for each.

Any chance we could get a somewhat detailed installation guide? I'm not new by any means, I'm just lost on these files in particular. Where exactly do I install them? I don't see anything in my ActiveSync/File Explorer window, so where do I put them?

I put each folder in it's right place but I don't see any of your stuff when I run hhc.

you didnt do it right than cause it works fine you need to add all the seperate folder for clocks into clocks and all that not the zips. they will be regualr folders.

Where is the HTC Home Customizer...I swear I have seen It before...Not sure if it is a .cab I have to install or just a original on the phone. And All I do is drag say the clock folders after extracted into the HTC Home Customizer "clock folder"? I think I am real close just missing something.

htc home customizer is a cab justsearch teh site for it it should be ion thte tread call "dashs touch with links of mods" and you correct just drag the clock into the clock folder under program files for htc home cust

hey dash awesome work bro,,,is there a way to save these into the htc costumizer permanently like if we have to upgrade our rom I dont wanna have to re download the icons onto the folders. You know what I mean??

yeah go into the htc home customizer and copy and paste those folders and place them onto your storage card so in the future after hard reset you just download the cstomizer and than copy and paste the folders right on over.

lol np....i do sleep during the day. im a 3rd shofter so the nights are long and limitless for me on the days off..... in the past i was getting pretty stressed and beign an dick and all but i decided to turn that backaround and start linking and answering questions even though they have been asked and asking them to search in the future so this place will grow and have people come back.... so if your a night owl and prowl the board duringthe night and i have the night off you will see me here quite a bit.

hey dash, is there a quick way to know what the icons look like before you add it on the home plugin,b/c its time consumming being that I dont know what the icons look like and I have to add it and if i dont like the way it matches with my background i have to open the costumizer again and keep doing that....I dunno if it makes sense but basically how can we view what the icons look like before we add them? lol

just open them on your computer and you wil be able to ee what they look like. oreven on th phone... just look in the folder and double clic on the image and you will see what it looks like.

i download the new htc customizer and i try to copy the new clocks back ground weather etc. to the customizer as instructed but i can not get it to work. i open up the customizer and i dont see any program files folder can u help me out please!!

try using reso file explorer to copy and paste files to were they are needed. Also, make sure you are copying them to the right places as instructed. Once you have draged them to the correct places, do i a soft reset and then go into the HTc cutomizer (HTC customizer folder maybe on device under programfiles or on storage card under programfiles. This should work and you should be golden!

yeah i working on another pack right now that i made myself and some from others that i found to be interesting.... prolly will frop by the end of the month and louiedoesit has been knocking thse out and addign the clocks to his themes

im mainly curious how you make your own clocks?


i did quick search didnt come up with anything.


i typed in "htchome clocks" "how to make clocks" and etc. . .


nothing came up.

its not too hard really what i would recommend doing is taking the background from mine so you get the right size and all than find a font that you like and just add it to each blank box...... i use adobe photoshop and when louie sees this he can tell you how he does them to just in case that may be an easier way.....

ok to be honest that sounded confusing a lil because its not always going be the same time lol the numbers have to change. but to be honest what you said was confusing lol so either maybe you can try to better explain it to me because i feel dumb. or maybe like you said louie can help me out and tell me how he does it and hopefully it might be easier lol.

lol you have to make one for each number and than for the seperator between the hour and minutes and than for am/pm and the alarm for the clocks..... take the size i have in the customizer packs and download the font to your computer and add that font into the blank bacgrounds that are the size that i have..... if you dont get this you will have to wait for louie he might be better at explaining this than me.

by the way would be nice if there was some kind of generator made for this so you just enter your font you want and like that and BAM! it makes it lol

i have read the entire thread several times and searched for this so please forgive in advance if this is already covered. I have loaded all of your custom clocks and icons correctly, they appear in my drop down list in the customizer. After I select new settings and save them, a few different things happen: nothing changes, the clock will dissapear, the ultimate laucher will move to the bottom half of the screen and the top will be blank, the phone will freeze, or some combination of the above. Most importantly all of my contacts have dissapeared. Everything else will return to normal once I reboot and choose original settings but my contacts are gone for good. Any advice. Thanks in advance.

never heard of the contacts getting deleted but hopefully you had them backed up on your pc or through a server like yahoo or mail2web. this was discussed in the ultimate launch thread. you have to go to start/settings/personal/today and than uncheck ultimate launch and recheck the home plugin. once you do that use the customizer change it the way that you want and than uncheck the home plugin and recheck ultimate launch.

np bro glad to help ya out have fun with it and you ever figure out if you can get your contacts back????? try to sync with activesync and see what that does.... sometimes weird things like that can work after a sift reset.
