Ultimate Launch V 12 [Today plug-in that sets up tabs like a cube etc]

nah I know it gives us the settings for the launcher settings, but anychance how me can have the phone settings itself ie...today,external gps,remove prgrams,buttons, etc.... on a tab???

At first it was active sync launching and crashing the phone, got that fixed by unchecking all auto start/launch options, but now it does not launch on its own.
Now its crashing when launching calendar (on its own).
Its got all the right features but its just too buggy.
Looks like its back to start Today screen again.

ok i deleted that slide2 tab thingy...lol and now it snot freezing up...good job too...I'm still curious how you have it set up for the icon to be on top when scrolling like you did, all settings are set as shown on video. when i scroll it works on the bottom.

yea the top of part of the screen the block full of apps when he just scroll through. See on mines i hav emines the top part is the clock the bottom of that will be the mod to scroll through the apps

Actually I did...
I uchecked auto launch or start in each tab and item in each tab.
It still auto launches Active sync and Calendar.
I definitely figured out all the configuration options, but I just cannot get a config I like that works.

Ultimate Search doesn't work on a combo tab but Live search does, go figure.

Htc home plug in doesn't auto expand.

Anyway I gave up on it.

its launching active syc cause you have checked the option to start on startup uncheck it....i had same issue....like i said above hold on give me a few and i will have a cyrstal clear screen video up with all the correct settings...and ones dash didnt go over...

look at the third vidoe in the 1st post and that describes it for you.

bro did you read through the thread at all or just post???? thee are here for a reason. but all you have to do is go to start/settings/personal/today/2nd tab on bottom/ thanclick on the ultimate launcher to highlight than go to move up until its all the way up. (as far as it will let you.)

ok put the cab file anywhere on the device (i reccomend the storage card) and than double click the file and install to main memory when it asks. than your done. ust go to registration and enter any serial and you will be golden.... for installation of cab files you would have found the info under the help desk and in the noob section r by doing a quick search so pleas in the future do that.

aright that means yo have to many plugins on your homescreen try to get rid of some of them by unchecking fro mthe area i toldyou above one by one and that will go away..... ( you can add thoseplugins to the launcher.

question,,, how do we get the space between the htc home icons(home,speed dial etc) smaller that way more things fit on the screen? I have ultimate search bar under the htc home but there is a big space between the htc home and search bar...anyway to minimize the space

if you look at my video i have the space too im working on seeing if i can cofig the files to make that gap less or not there at all... you can add the homescreen plugins to the launcher.... kaos shows how to do this step by step in his video which is the 3rd one in the first post.

hey dash I made it smaller, the space we were talkin about last nite. go to the configurations of the ul launcher and go to the headers tab and make the decrease the height, I have mine on 7 instead of 20 which is what u have on the video.

It looks like the "Behavior" tab option of "Always minimize height" is causing the problem with my calendar auto launching and crashing my phone (much like the active sync was).

It makes sense.. since my calendar is the next thing down on the home screen and the auto resizing this option ("Always minimize height") may not be setting the tappable area for the calendar properly when it makes the Ultimate Launcher smaller to accommodate some of my tabs with less icons.

I just hate seeing all that wasted space on the tabs with only three icons in it. But maybe I'll just get used to it if the resizing option is causing the problem.

I'll post back if this resolves my calendar auto launch problem later after I test it.

this had been discussed already in the earlier posts around page 2-5. go into start/setting/today/items and uncheck the htc home plugin then x out then do a soft reset and it should work, also make sure in the ultimate launcher setting u have htc home instead of the htc homeplug.

I got it I just had active sync running when I installed it. So I turned it off and installed and it woked just fine. Thanks. Bye the way I love this program. It late so I might be running a little slow.
