Ultimate Launch V 12 [Today plug-in that sets up tabs like a cube etc]

you gotta read the thread some man...You turn off htc home in today and only use ultimate launch....and you set htc home as a side to ultimate launch.....simple...read back a bit....this threads like prego its all in here.

I got a little problem with my Launcher

1 my contacts icon next to the SMS does not bring up my phone contacts. Got any Idea?
I tryed to switch out the file with a few different files but no luck

2 how do i make my clock small in height so I dont have a slide bar on the right hand size

I got rid of all the items except 3 of them HTC Home and Daily Text (my program) and the ultimatelauncher

If i make my clock smaller i think it will work

nope only had to do oce,. are you clickng ok in the bottom left corner of the screen once you try to activate so it saves the activation?

Yeah, clicking the bottom left ok like te insturctions say to. It activates and the little multicolered active please text goes away, ut usually comes back after my phone goes on standbye. Thats why it's annoying me.. other than that it works great.

your the only with the problem try moving off of all 0's. hundreds if not thoudands have installed and this is the first i have heard of this happening.

as alreadysaid it HAS to e installed to the main memory and look through the thread and at the 3 videos in the first post and it already tells you how to set it up.

ok i wil add ths to the first post also... i found out how to get rid of the numbrs that appear on the top or bottom that ar quite annoying. what you do is chose your tab from the options and than once you do that click on change and than up top choose the tab named display and name it to what you want or make it blank and it will show asolutely nothing!!!

When i run the cab it says installation was unsuccessful. So it just doent install Ive downloaded all the mirrors and they all say the same thing. What do you suggest i do?

EDIT: Right after i posted this i tried again and it somehow installed perfectly. I guess thats how good the tech support at this site is thanks again.

if anyone is having trouble making this visually appealing on the touch, it seems to be alittle different from the settings for the mogul for some reason, but i finally got it too look good :D!! since the HTC Home plugin was going a little off the right side of the screen i got rid of the 2 pixel margin set in the display settings...this will make it perfectly centered on your screen, also i made the header 1 pixel so it was not visibly there, however i can still click and hold to get to settings, it works really well plus gives you more room for everything else you may want!! hope this helps all the touch users out there!

anybody has success putting the calender as a plugin on the launcher, I cant find the calendar to check it off as a plugin in the setting of the UL, or do I have to download a third party calendar app????

you can always add it without the plugin so you can just open it and all from the launcher..... or you could go the third party app way and there is many good ones cracked here.

hey, i have this set up to rotate all my today plugins (htc home, ultimate search, espn, perastat, and prada plugin) so that basically the whole screen rotates at once. its real nice, i can fit all my programs on one or two pages, and if you wanted to you could change the icons to iphone ones, and you could make an iphone theme out of it. but my problems are
1. when i slide out the key board out and then put it back in the little scroll bar on the right side of the screen stays put and when i scroll down there is random dead space that wasnt there before. the only way to get rid of it seems to be to soft rest. i can get around it by only having my keyboard opened when a app is running.

2. ultimate search wont work. it will work if its not part of ultimate launch (meaning it doesnt rotate).

sorry or the long post, but is anyone else having this problem or know of a work around? if it would help i could make a video?

the slide is due to the amount of plugins that you have in the launcher and is confusing the phone.... i only have the htc homeplugin in my launcher....... and ultimate search i have no clue why it wouldnt work but prolly just one of them programs..... you could still have it on the homescreen below plugin you know.

Would like to appologize in advance if this information was already given elsewhere.
Have tried for hours and hours to to make ultimate launch function similarly to in your vid. First, it is on the bottom of my screen, there is a scroll bar on the side and the whole app appears at the very bottom. Secondly, it will not include my today home or any other previously installed apps ( i tried unistalling them all and reinstalling to no avail and the only clock is an anolog one). Third, on several sides of the cube it says messages such as: "The plug in is already active" and "NO path to DLL found". I definetly appreciate your guys genius and will be donating but would love to know what I have been doing wrong. Thank you.

look at the second video and it will show you how to get in there you have to click and hold on the plugin itself to get to the options they wouldnt be under the programs. you can also go to file explorer and than the app to find them like any other app that you install on your phone.

been discussed through this whole thread already please read through the thread before posting and you will find your answer. the scroll bar can be gotten rid of by taking some of the things off the home screen. and for getting up top ion the options looks at the second and third video in the first post and there is a video on mine and kaos setup so you can see how it is set up and just copy. it does include the apps under the options you have to do it manually. the plugin already active is becasue you have to deactivate the htc home plugin from start/settings/personal/today and uncheck it. please read through the posts in the future becasue it will save you time and us the stress of having to repeat ourselves over and over again on the same things. well yeah i opened mine from the home screen and you went through file explorer just x out of file explorer and you will be fine. lol dont tell me you were sitting on file explorer all this time.

lol naw you dont have to open it through there. go to start/settings/today/the second tab on bottom/ and click off the homeplugin and check the ultimate launcher and you will be golden.

bro look through the tuts and this thread all been discussed.

1.uncheck the htchomeplugin as stated above and than check ultimate launch
2. you choose plugin when you want a plugin for that slide and you choose the apps for the apps you want on the other slides...... just like showed in the last 2 videos in the first post.

I have the "HTCHomeplug" but no signs of "HTC Home" in the Today Plug-in upon a hard reset, ROM upgrade, and then install of UL. What am I missing? Thanks.

you have to reinstall thr plugin on your mogul after hard reset since it doesnt come stock.

Dash sorry bro but that didnt help me at all........Im sorry but its a pain in the butt trying to figure out where you should make posts here and where not too......I thought since the thread discusses in video form how the ultimate installer program is supposed to look that it would be the right place to post.........Guess not my bad..........

your question was where did the clock and the plugin go after you did the hard reset. on the mogul the htc homeplugin doesnt come stock thats from the touch. so you have to reinstall and you can find that here: https://www.wckediden.com/showthread...weather+fix%2A

Will UltimateLaunch work with TouchFlo/HTC Cube installed. I tried installing it with the Cube installed and every time I tried to switch panels on UltimateLaunch the Cube would come up. Work fine with TouchFlo/Cube Uninstalled. Also I was wondering what battery and memory meter KAOS was running on his phone in the vid.

he me and others have the quick menu one that comes with the application. it will work and shouldnt pop up because for the cube to open you go bottom to top an d for UL you just swipe side to side......... make sure you go straight across.

I tried reinstalling HTCCube_FTouchFlo_TFloCubeCtrlv110_Config-xplode and once installed when swiping left to right or right to left in UltimateLaunch the Cube would come up. Changed the TouchFlo settings so that nothing would happen with the side to side swipes and then I was able to change pages in UltimateLaunch but after summing the Cube now I can't rotate it.

Cool ok dash here goes.....2 things......I followed the video demo and I entered the exact same settings u did for your mogul...But somehow the UL tabs stayed on the bottom and are not on top sitting underneath the clock....

How do you get this screen to look like yours with the 6 tabs? Did you have these extra icons on your screen if so how did you get rid of them or hide them so this screen only shows the 6tabs with the extra invisble tab??

huh they must clash with each other on the mogul than.... i myself dont use the cube because i find it to be really redundant. so it is going to have to be one or the other.

How do you get this screen to look like yours with the 6 tabs? Did you have these extra icons on your screen if so how did you get rid of them or hide them so this screen only shows the 6tabs with the extra invisble tab??

you can delete the tabs that you arent going to use like the ul and the extra program ones. and to get up top you have to go to start/settings/ personal/today/ and than click on ultimate launch and than click move up till it gets all the way to the top. and by 6 tabs what do you mean???? the ones under the clock or in the launcher. the tabs come stock in the home plugin 6 tab and if you mean through ul you go to the options and click on the # tab and than delete and add ones that you dont want and do want......... and please read through the thread though also because all this was already discussed besides the 6 tab thing that im confused on.

I was thingking the same thing but I like having the FtouchFlo to close programs and scroll in email. Is there way way to install just FTouchFlow?

Ok dash gotcha on that.......... when I mean 6 tabs I was reffering to the screen where u show how to configure the UL settings on youtube......keeping 6 tabs and extra invisible tab making it 7 for the htc plugin

Hey dash I cleaned up some of the uneccessary files under my tabs that I didnt need....But im still having problems with which settings go first in what order...I tried moving the UL to the top like you said but it doesnt let me the furthest it goes is 3rd from the top.......??

here is how it looks in order

Date=cant move down

Htc Home=checked cant move down

Ultimate Launch=checked cant move up

LG buttons= checked

Htc Homeplug= checked

Tried unchecking and checking different orders and still cant get it setup with the clock, UL, htc custom and prada plugin???

bro please read through the thread asd i stated earlier already discussed this many times. you need to ucheck htc home add it to a tab in UL and than after you do that you wioll be straight..... as long as there not checked they wont appear on the home screen
