Contacts randomly deleted

Whats up Dash... I was using activesync on my htc touch dragging mp3s into the phone and at some point between there and closing activesync ALL my contacts were gone... I went to make a call and what do you know??? All it says in my contacts is to Enter a NEW contact.... even my speedial list with the touchscreen pictures was all reset to where it says ADD on all 9 spaces..... please tell me theres a way to undo this tragedy!!!! I didnt tell it to delete ANYTHING so i dont know why this would happen :......(

ummm you must have hot something during the process.... did you ever back them up through mail2web, activesync or another program???? if not your basically trying to go upstream without a paddle.
