My Rom is based off of nueROM v2.0, build 5060 with some stuff removed some added...all and all very stable...

I updated to the latest official release of WM6.1 from the leaked Kaiser roms. XIP has been ported too, seems like it had some new memory management features too. Enjoy, and let me know if you encounter problems. As a quick test of speed, try going to file explorer and opening the windows directory.

This is a clean rom, so it doesn't have much on it. YOU MUST USE THE NEW BOOTLOADER (Olipro 2.40) for this rom to work.

**Known issues:
GMAIL users are forced to use POP3 Email due to auto-detection (EDIT: Omegax posted a fix: type in gmail wrong and fix it later).
(5050+) = crashes imgfstools on nbmerge. You'll need to manually repair the partition table before using nbmerge.
(5050+) = PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR BATTERY AND PUT IT BACK IN, THEN HARD RESET AFTER FLASHING. The new partition table requires a full reset.

Please post any requests in this thread and I will try to do my best to accomodate them, provided that it does not involve adding applications to the rom. IF you find out how to fix something, please post it so I can fix it in my next release.

If you are new to flashing, please read this provided by quantumforce1. No, your phone is not a brick if its on the tricolor screen.

You must have radio 3.35 installed on device before flashing..

Wow thanks for flaming me like that. Let me clarify mu question a little. So the rom finishes loading onto my phone, do I let the phone boot the whole way b4 I takr the battery out and hard reset or do I do it b4 the phone has booted completely the first time? Also D/\sh or maybe Kaos has posted somewhere that I need to do a soft reset b4 the Sprint customizer does it's thing. I realize why you flamed me but I seriously don't understand the sequence these things need to be done in.

you should go and click on d/\sh sig on how to flash rom. read that through and that should help you out. has a very detail layout

after you finish flashing the rom, before the windows screen boots up, you want to pull the battery out, leave it out for about 5 seconds, then put it back in, and do a hard reset by pressing both of the soft keys (the 2 buttons with a dot on them) and the soft reset button (the button at the bottom of the phone beside the charger port) at the same time until it comes up asking you if you want to do a hard reset, press the button on the keypad that it asks you to, then when it is finished it will ask you to press the space bar, then you are finished!

bro I didnt flame you, dont take things personal here at this site, its just we get these questions hundreds of times a day and it just gets kinda annoyin, its not you. you flash after it boots up the 1st time, and kaos has deleted the sprint customizations so you dont have to worry about that it wont pop up. hope this helps.

ok i need help. i just flashed the rom and im pretty sure i did every correctly and it worked but now with the new rom something is messed up with my keyboard and some of the keys dont work right.. how do i fix this

did you follow the steps and take the battery out after the flash was complete than boot back up and than do a hard reset.

ya i did.. everything else is working normally.. i think its from the touch keyboards that are on it making it do like auto correct cuz the abc is on top.. it there a way to remove the touch keyboards?

this si for the mogul only read the first post!!!!! if you flash to your touch you will brick your device.

huh no clue why you would be getting the problem and no you cant since they are built in to the rom

idk either.. some letters work and some don't.. and when i hit the function to do number that doesnt work either it jus comes up with another letter

Ok so I flashed my phone yesterday and have been running this rom for almost 24hrs. I have installed all my apps and get about 14.5mb-15.5mb after reset and steady round 12mb after running for a while. I am very impressed with the ROM as at responds very fast and snappy. Only thing I need to config after flash was the touchflo (depending on your needs). All in all, Very good ROM. I think I had gotten 1mb extra after soft reset with the first verson of 420build. That is totally understandable since touchflo and iecontacts are built in. Mad Props to kAOS for sharing this ROM with us. Thanks! NO BEEF NOHOMO!

YES YOU ARE CORRECT SEEMS THE HTC TOUCH KEYBOARD IS GIVING COMPATIBILITY ISSUES WITH THE SLIDING KEYBOARD AND TEXTING....I WILL HAVE A REVISED VERSION UP WITH IN THE HR...REMOVING THE HTC TOUCH KEYBOARD TO CORRECT THESE ISSUES....ON IT RIGHT NOW AS I TYPE....

built into my rom on the picture bro.You could change the wm6.1 and the loading screen thats it......the others are the rom signature.If you want your own pics on that i could build it in for you for a small fee.but i retain creators rights..If interested pm me.rom updated touch keyboard removed no more issues...see first post for new link.....install that one then no worries...

the problems with the htc touch keyboard isn't just with your rom, I have had problems with it since the official update came out, not sure if it worked pre- gps/rev a update though... It mainly seems to be vowels that are the problem though... atleast for me.

hmmmm not sure if i have seen one. he took these out when he made the rom to clear up space..... you will have to wait and see if he has them or i will go fishing if he diesnt and see if there is one in the windows folder on my phone.

In version 1 I had no Sprint Music/Groove Mobile. I installed the pludin from the extended ROM but it only put in the plugin, but it lead to nothing. It says (basically) that the plugin is not associated with any program. Has this issue been addressed in this ROM or am I the only one having this problem?

dont know don't use it..but i didn't touch the extrom...so if it dont work from the cab not my end but sprints........

left uc out of this build..but very easy to install the cab for it...search xda for your info since they developed it...its more a pain to setup then you know...

like everything about it so far. been running this for a couple hours. wish you didnt take out the htc home customizer but then again its no biggy since we can just install it ourselves. good job.

not sure check around in your settings...I built them in so might not be a way too..but i clearly stated they were in the rom in the build list...

what do you mean what programs? how about searching on how to flash a custom rom...only about 20 articles on here how to do so...And it should broSki is on verizon and uses it no issues...

how so? only thing missing is a game and htc customizer few other small items which can all be added via cab install...but to each there own.....this one has way better battery management though..

I guess my biggest hesitation is not so much the missing games or HTC customizer or even the not being able to turn off the audible for the screen clicks. I'm sure they are all readily addressable as you mention.
My biggest thing is that I have to decide is whether the benefits of the new ROM outweigh the significant amount of time it's going to going to take me to get back to where I am now customization wise. I've done a lot of tweaking and program adding and really have things going the way I like.

But, if the battery management really is much better, I may have to reconsider.....

In any case, you really have done an excellent job with creating these ROMs, and I personally am very appreciative!

i wouldn't release or upgrade my self if it wasn't worth` the improvement..

very good battery management the other day i went 20 hrs unplugged and was at 30% when i put in on the charger and thats with just the regular battery

ya called advanced config...its standard on the rom...just mess with the font sizing till you find on you like.

i'm with alltel and this is my second time flashing, first was to sprint 3.35 to get gps and now to your 6.1. its amazing i mean im new to a custom but the speed is crazy and the custom app buttons and well im in awww right now...ill play with it more tommorrow but right now im just like wishing my phone came stock like this out the box. mad props

Kaos Im pretty impressed with the battery life Im getting with your new Rom. Yesterday I used my phone pretty heavily (internet-wifi & evdo), texting and calling and by 10 pm I still had 73% battery. Overall pretty fast.

I do wish you had left HTC Home in there (but put it in myself). Also noticed there isnt any Java mgr. Could you recomend a good one? (i need it for opera mini).

Overall pretty satisfied with speed and battery life that Im getting from this rom.
