Ultimate Launch V 12 [Today plug-in that sets up tabs like a cube etc]

the only problem I'm having is once in a while when I go to flip through the different screens for some odd reason internet explore comes up not sure why ? I know I'm not hitting the icon for IE. Anyone else have this problem ??

check to make sure that you don't have any gestures set to open Internet Explorer (and make sure you check all of your tabs for gestures), also check out the FTouchFlo

the only thing i see about gestures in UL is under behavior ~ Gesture control set to intuitive

i saw in some of your updated videos that you got rid of the annoying header where it shows the number or icon like #1 etc. I know how to get rid of the text and icon but how do you get rid of the space? Help?

Trying to beat a dead horse to death.
Would anyone know why, when I restart my device it opens with both the UL app and htc home?? Works fine till I restart, both open!! Love the app, just cant figure out what could be causing this. I've activated with a code then pressed ok. I've just for the heck of it went in to HHC and unchecked activate on startup. Any ideas???

Help a nood day is today the 25th!!!!

uncheck htc home from start/personal/today/2nd tab

Done that, works great till I shut down or restart the device. Both apps open up. When I go back in to look at the setting the htc home is checked again. Pulling my hair out on this one!!!

Any other ideas???

its weird, what version of htc home do you have? If you want remove the htc home app and re install or search for the newest fixed version of htc home with the weather fix...you never know, but u gotta try different things.

i had that probem where in resetting the phone it the htc would pop up...in the htc there is a box where it may be chaecked to automatically start upon a soft reset..i think its on the options part..if u have that checked u may want to uncheck it, it worked for me....hope this helps...

just open the ultimate lauch config and than go through the tabs up top and you will find it. its one of the first couple. or it might be under the htc home just click and highlight that tab and than go to edit and check those tabs up top also.

open up the htc and there are a bunch of tabs like theme , apperarance and the options tab is all the way to the right but make sure that the htc is not a plugin for the ultimate launch at the time or it wont work, I took the htc off the utl launch then it appreared on today screen, went into htc checked off that box, soft reset and put back on the ultimate launch and have had no problems since,i hope this helps...

i got it to work somewhat. i copied your settings in the video...but i cant get the htc app (clock and icons) to be a part of it i basically have the htc plug in stuff and the cube launcher on the bottom...grrr getting fustrated lol...could you guys help out?

Kitchen, anyone make an OEM outta this cab and try to burn it to rom?

I am trying to replace the shareware version in the kitchen with this one.

I went thru all the normal motions with OEMizer to make the OEM then chose it in the kitchen and burned it to rom, once the unit was back up and running UL doesn't show..

Did I miss something?

we know that if you read the thread it states not to use attached use the links in the first post...... well it has to be checked you prolly dont have it to be on the homescreen when the phone boots since it is a plugin you know.... go to start/settings/personal/today/second tab/ and than move UL to the top and check the box.

I'm having a little problem with ultimate launcher i did everything that you explained in your latest videos and everything is working fine, but only the cube is not working, i have three tabs and a htchome in plugins under tabs, but i can't rotate that with my finger like u are doing in your videos. I got everything else down same theme and other stuff. Can u help me with that. Also one last thing in ur htc titan i saw when you touch it with ur fingure it makes a little sound and i think touch screen is more responsive with that. I have htc tilt how can i get that, i have touchflo installed, but i don't get and click noise when i touch the screen and my screen is not responsive as yours.

Scrolling thru the thread at work :) Was trying to read as much as I could, didn't catch that part on the link.

Yes I know it's a plugin. I have installed it from the CAB and also used the shareware version from the kitchen. Problem is that it's not showing up in plugins to check it.

Was wondering if anyone else had tried to burn it to ROM instead of installing it every time.

This time I chose the Shareware version in the kitchen as well as my OEM and had it replace "existing copies" with the ones from this CAB. Burning to Rom now.

OK: That method allows UL to show up in plugins. But after a reset today screen doesn't show. This happens with UL and GPS Today for me so far. With UL I have to deselect it, reset and select it again after reset. If for some reason I have to reset again, I have to go thru the same motions.. Anyone else? Today screen isn't refreshing it seems.

ok your doing it wrong than you have to add the plugin as said already to the UL configuration and than you will be abnle to scroll that. in the end you will have HTC home plugin unchecked in the used plugins for your homescreen and UL checked. and no the sounds dont make it respond faster its just the custom registry that makes it faster. you should be running pretty fast considering you have double the ram. but to get the sound go to start/settings/personal/today/sounds and notifications/than check tap sounds.

Forum trolling, seems there are many people with this issue. And the solution for most have been to Hard Reset and not use UL.

Most call it "phone freezing".. But I know there are many people using it without any problems.. now I just gotta remove options in the kitchen to eliminate conflicts..

word and the freezing is because they checked activesync to start and startup. if the people followed whats in the videos and the thread they wouldnt have had the problem.

I just cooked up a clean titan 3.35 WinMo 6.0 rom, and installed the .cab from the thread. Same result. Looking in memory, programs running, I see activesync running. Take mind this is a clean, nothing at all in kitchen checked and installed. All I did after burn and reset is install the cab.

I am gonna try with WinMo 6.1 5054 or 5060 and see if that makes a difference.

Even if I dont load the UL cab, activesync is running on a clean ROM.

EDIT: Ok it seems that UL and GPS Today, as well as some other plugins just don't work well in winmo 6.0. It may be an issue with activesync and it may not. I cooked up no2chem 5060 in the kitchen, winmo 6.1, and checked up UL and GPS today as well as several other plugins. Result; everything loads and works. Checked running programs and activesync is running as well.. So there must be something else that was "fixed" between 6.0 and 6.1.

PLease watch the video on how to configure ultimate launcher...as for it coming up on the top,. make sure you go to stat/settings/personal/today and under items makes ure Ultimate lAuncher i8s the first. If it isnt highlight it and on the right you will have move up... Push move up till ultimate launcher is the first on the list....
