Just a tip for knuckleheads like myself: I kept trying over and over again getting the Invalid Code message even after changing the Owner Info. Turns out, using the Touchpal keyboard automatically puts a space after you type something and Guitar Hero didn't like that i guess.

In summary: enter Crackedbydash and MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO SPACES AT THE END.

no this is only for the ppc........... i dont think there is a version for non ppc's.

you have changed the name in owner information to Crackedbydash right? (case sensitive)

Assuming you changed device info to Crackedbydash already, try another soft reset and then enter theh code again. I had that problem at first, but then after another soft reset it worked. That code is the only one that will work, so keep tryin.

i haven't had it behind that much but i have noticed some glitches, especially with other programs running..so just close other programs if possible before playing

Yeah, I noticed that. I think its a bit optimistic to hold a ppc game to the standards of its platform counterpart. Try starting the game fresh after a soft reset, and it might help. Otherwise, it is what it is. I noticed that there's a pretty high tolarance for missing timing on the notes too. if you play with the music, you usually hit the notes even if visually it didn't look like it.

I actually don't attribute the timing to lagging memory or processor power in my case. Its not quite as accurate as it is on PS3 or Xbox 360 though. I figured it is just the game moreso than the processing speed. Kind of like on the platform games where you can correct for the lag if you have a HD tv who's picture is slower than the game speed (in Rock Band anyways).

My GF's wing does the same thing.

It is a PPC afterall. On some songs more than others and sometimes only in a certain section of the song. The notes just don't match perfectly as it should in theory, but still definately playable.

You might also have more running in the background on your touch than we do. I noticed that after I did a HARD reset, and didn't install ALL of the programs I had on my touch before, a lot of my progs run a lot smoother. There are some system resources that are being eaten up on startup with some apps that don't show up in your task manager that may be the source of your lack of system resources.

Well, when I checked out my startup stuff in my registry there is only a couple things in there. Should be no reason for the lag. Not sure but I will do some research tonight and see what I can find.
