htc 6800 keeps restarting on battery

I have a htc mogul 6800. it gets to the home screen then reboots whenever it is not pluged into a usb cable. it started doign this after i did an update following instructions step by step off of here. the steps i took in order exactly

first i used the:

NEW] Sprint Mogul ROM Update 3.16.651.0! (Windows Mobile 6.1 & Sprint TV Included)

the phone was running fine but it kept refreshing the screen. not seeing anyone else with the problem i descided to use one of the custom roms off the site. so first i ran:

TitanUnlocker.zip

followed by:

titan_radio_3.35.04.exe

and for my first rom i installed:

KaosROM v2.0 build 420_tAKE_2

after unplugging it from the usb port and taking out the batterie and doing a hard reset, it was stuck in a loop of restarts... until i plugged it back into the usb port. it worked fine. once i figureed out i was having that problem i figured it was caused by that rom or some weird settign was casing it so i descided to search for a different rom.i then installed:

nueROM_v2.1_build_5066.rar

the odd thing was the two startup screeens stuck from the KaosROM but everythign else seamed to be in order. but as soon as i took it off the usb cable BOOM restart. it gets back to the windows home screen and restarts again and does this as many as 8 times before i put it back on the usb cable and then it runs fine. i need help with this asap and i hope i have putt this in the right place. i noticed that kaos and dash seam to have an awsome rep around here if one of you could help it would be awsome.

ok what i want you to do is flash back to the 3.35 rom through sprint. and than once you do that flash over to the new leaked spritn rom. once you do that see if it does it still.... if it still doesflash back to the 3.35 rom than RELOCK your phone and try to flash to the leaked rom.

ok i found the thread and downloaded the sprint 3.35 rom, for some odd reason it gets to 11% the phone reboots, and after about 30 minutes the comoputer comes abck and goes to the connection problem screen. it will then start over but it does the same thing again at 11% thanks for your response and all your insight and knowledge on this forum i will be donating weather we figure this out or not, in the mean time i have no phone and i need to get it working or get a spare. i can tell you i only get this when i tr to use either of the roms from sprint either the:

RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.49.651.0_RS_TITAN_3.39.10_S PCS_2.00_AM_PPST_Test.exe

or the:

RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.35.651.2_RS_TITAN_3.35.04_4 350H_SPCS_AM_Ship.exe

oh and if i use the kaos or the nuerom after it locks at the 11% on the sprint roms i have to restart the phone holding down the power and camera button to get back to the raibow screen casue the phone sits on the kaos screen with the cartoon dood flicking me off and it says "no radio" on the screen. so i then flash it with:

titan_radio_3.35.04.exe

then it comes up... but i still have the restarting issue. i was thinking about relocking it but i read on the forum not to do that if i ever intend on using the gbs again. so... what do i do. i cant take it to sprint to get it back to where it was cause there just gonna run the same file and its gonna keep coming up with a cartoon dood flicking them off and there gonna know somehting is up... ROFL

actually thats something to point out, no matter which rom i load, i still have the kaos loading screen, i dont know if that matters but i knwo you guys need as much of a description as you can if you are to help me.

RELOCK it bro, and then run sprints 3.35 rom. 1st of all what carrier do you have?

ok so i am an idiot and made a giant mistake and i hope you guys can still help. i descided to look around for other things i could do to try and fix my problem. im hoping i didnt turn my phone into a brick. after i left my second post i went looking for different radios to install. i found:

titan_radio_3.27.00.exe

off of htc's website. so i figured it couldnt hurt to try a different radio. i know stupid thing to do. the install went fine. after it shutdown, the screen never came back on. the computer installed a new device cause it was plugged in via usb. the new device was labeled (htc6800 modem) now no matter how long i leave the batterie out and no matter if i hit the soft reset or anything else no lights and no screen come up. however if i take the battery out then it disconnects the modem driver and the computer makes a noise letting me know a usb device has been disconnected. if i put the battery back in it comes up pretty much instantly as a device. the power button the soft reset nothing does anything. no lights. please help if you can and if you cant to the sprint store i go and hope they cant figure out anything that i did.

ok you officially bricked it by flashing to that radio. they wont be able to get the screen back on either so i hope that oyu have insurance on your phone.

D/\sh.... as much as it sucks my phone is messed up i would like to thank you for your help. no one to blame here but myself. i do have a question though. any idea why they make a radio for the phone put it in the download section for the phone that makes the phoen a brick? i have only had the phone for a week and i feel liek an idoit for doing it. from now on i wont install anything that i havent scene aproved on here. anyway thanks again for your help.

yup you had a radio then u downgraded the radio which is a big no no. Our directions and threads clearly always state never to downgrade on a radio. If you have radio 3.35, then wy go to radio 3.27? That wsnt a smart move by you, but im not calling you dumb also. It is a mistake on your part, and when you get your phone switched make sure u tell them that you installed an update and after that the phone stopped workin. you dont wanna tell them you unlocked your phone to install wm 6.1 lmaoooo

I believe the NEW Moguls from sprint have the new ROM 3.35, as I just did one in the box 3 days ago!

yeah i dont know if im gonna mod this one as far as the rom goes. i have installed the overclocking program and the s2u2. the overclocking made a huge difference and the s2u2 is an awsome app. i cant believe there is nothing like that on the phone. so much better than the stock locking feature.
