Dash I am trying to look at your youtube videos again on this page but they are not showing. I just had the same thing happen to me that happen to Kaos.Phone froze and I had to hard reset. I had the program running but it was below the htc home. What am I doing wrong?

has been disccused before... Please go to start/setttings/personal/ today and in the items tab plase UNCHECK ultimate launcher.. then load the customizer change what icons and settings you wnt then save.. then go back into the start/settings/etc/etc. and CHECK THE ultimate launcher icon... you should be golden!

I'm trying to make a new combination of tabs that has my voicemail, messaging, calendar, and tasks on it. These are the things that I use to have on my Today screen before I installed the HTC Home and Ultimate Launcher. The problem is that in the tab setup for Ultimate Launcher the Calendar and Tasks Today-plugins do not show up; does anyone know if there is there a way to add these plugins into Ultimate Lanucher? I love this program, but without the ability to add these plugins it's not worth it for me to keep it :triste:

the tabs under ultimate launch are for the ultimate launch cube not htc home. so go to setting/personal/today and uncheck ultimate launch. then run htc home customizer and adjust the tabs for htc home. then go back to settings personal today and receck ultimate launch. now the htc home plugin should have the taabs you want.

they will be in the windows folder as ini files.

ok i got everything up and running....just one thing how do you get thoughs numbers off at the bottom of the ulitmt launcher? yes you did explain in the edit...i just am not understanding it.....i chose my tab then clicked change...at the top there are 3 tabs they are todays plug in....tab and gestures i dont see the display tab......so i dont know how to name it or even leave it blank....please help thanks

you open the settings and click change on the tab and in tabs just delete the numbers iand thats i!

casue you maybe you didnt activate the app. Go into the settings of UL and scroll all the way to the last top tab. The activate with any code. This is in the videos uptop!!

i have done that like a million times and it still happens.....i mean not right away...when it happens i reactivate it and then its fine for a while...well maybe ill remove it soft reset and install again and set everything up and then soft reset again......its more of an anoyance then anything,,,,the app still wrks fine :o)

Try that or before that, you can try activating and making sure it works, then soft reset. If you havent already done that...

THis happend to me the first time I installed this. Unistall and then Reinstall then make sure you activate the first time you go into the settings.

hey, the UL is on the bottom of my today screen as icons. I went to the config settings and i didn't have the ghost/blank htc area, just the clock, UL, and six boxes. is that a problem, or do i still just click the new button and continue?

bro did you rea dhte post at all even???? its all in the thread!!!!! go to start/settings/personal/today and than move ultimate launch to the top and uncheck htc home plugin. just new and than plugin and add.

This app is Great....Question I have done all settings the way they are in the youtube videos and thanks for that....Ok for my question I activate like im supose to but after i turn the cube around a few times it seems that on all 4 corners of my cube it says NOT ACTIVATED...but i activated it...so then i click on reload INI and its fine..then use it some more and it then does the same thing again....Everything works fine more anoying then anything...is there a way to fix that?

i have never been able to duplicate this but as discussed in this thread some users have said that they uninstalled and the first time they opened they set it up the way they wanted and activated all at once without closing and they didnt have the trouble again.

Sorry about that dash. I had it all figured out a while ago. I edited that post at the bottom to say that i had it. I usually read all of the post before starting, and I just forgot an earlier issue. Won't happen again.

i flashed to the kaos take 2 with success. i downloaded the ultimate launcher to the phone what do i do to make it look like dashs is still looks like the way i bought. oh at the activation tab i could not type my name i just put the number that i wanted and clicked activate. it said 'to click the okay at the bottom left of the screen' i went back to the today screen and it looks the same. also how do i get it to flow when i flick the screen.

i know i watch each of them closely. do i get codes from handango.com or do i make up one on the phone. the website is asking to download a .exe file. should do that because my today screen is blank i have done everything that on the video to the tee. but when i press okay after hitting activate nothing happens. i can't flick either.

right you have to set it up like in the videos with the apps you want in there....... watch the videos bro that just activates it and once you do so you have to go to start/settings/personal/today/tabs and than check ultimate launch. also please read through the thread before posting in the future it has all been discussed before..... All you do is click change once the icon is highlited, and then in that window all you need to do is click the icon tab, and then direct it to the new one!

Ok, I've got Ultimate Launch with the black taskbar underneath. This works great! And I've got the HTC Home App set as a tab also. My problem is that I use US Cellular, so underneath the UL app, I also still have the original today screen. My scrollbar on the today screen is huge, and I noticed in the video D^SH didn't have one at all.

And wasn't there another video with different version of the UL app that emulates the Touch? I don't know exactly what it's called to search for it...

You just have to uncheck all your US cellular today plugins in the normal settings menu. Then add them to UL if you want them in UL. That'll get rid of your scroll bar.

UL should be your only today plugin that has the box checked. If you want other ones, you'll have to play with how many you can fit without a scroll bar.

as for the UL ap that emulates the touch, I have no idea what you're talking about other than Touch-Flo which has nothing to do with UL.

i know bro but the thing is that i chose a BMP 32x32 icon and a PNG format and it shows a blank page as a prewiew, so i guess it has to be a certain size or format, im going to keep trying new options to see what works, what format did you use to succesfully change the icon??:40:

I might have a question to ask...I had to hard reset my phone for some stuff and as I was re-tweaking it, I load ultimate launcher again and set everything on it up...but everytime I Would use it after 2 transitions my whole screen would freeze...soft reset and again same problem and so forth and so forth...I took it off and reinstalled and same problem...I'm gonna try to take off and put back on one more time...the funny thing is that it never did this when I had it onmy phone before...

i dont change my icons but if im not mistaking they are jpeg images....try that

mmmmmmm do you have the activesync and everything unchecked and the start at bootup unchecked?

well you cant run both ultimate launch and the cube since they coincide without eachother and clash..... whenever you try to use the swipe on ultimate launch the cube comes up... so it will have to bne one or the other.

Hey guys I"m haveing some issues with UL.

First off, I"m trying to add apps to one of my tabs, but apps like accessing my contacts, launching the phone, calander, Active Sync, IE, WMP, Setting, Programs, ect... I"m not able to loacte the right icons, exe files, ect. Can anyone help me with setting up apps under one of my UL tabs?
Also, whats teh issue with the activation code? How do you get one? Where do you go to get one? Does someone have an access code I can use?
Is there any way to update UL with additional icons, Plugins, or anything else as far as additions fo the UL the program itself?

To answer your fist question, that would be a regisrty tweak as far as briging up WMP settings and the Programs section... But why would you want to do that. all off your programs are right in UL. Secondly for registration, it says to register with any code in the VIDEOS! To add a program to a tab like the 1,2,3 etc, ect. tab. go into the UL settings and then you have the tabs there. Highlight the tab you want click change then click add new program icon. then you will get a windo to browse for either a .lnk or.exe file. Depending on where the file is located and installed will determine whether it is a exe or lnk. I hope this helps. Please press the thanks ButtoN!

Ok I Have A Problem! I Have The Htc Home Customizer And Launcher. I Had The Ultimate Launcher First And I Got Hhc Next, I Ran The Programs And They Blended Together So That It Looked Liked Dashs Set Up But I Did Something That Stacked Them On Top Of Each Other. Hhc Up Top And Ul Right Under It. Can Someone Help Me To Get It Back To The Way It Was?
