yeah that made me a lil sad too with the IR....... but o well and all ppc's from now on through sprint are going to have rev a internet speeds.... my boy in corporate told me this.

it is bigger than the mogul or touch we have QVGA screens aka 240X320.... the diamond and raphael aka touch pro have VGA which is 480X640 so they will be double the size..... how damn sexy!!!!

so this phone is coming out for sure this month of july? if so im going get that instead of this instinct. i like the instinct but idk its not 3rd party accessible right now which sucks plus i cant get use to the onscreen keyboard a couple people in my family have it and i dont care for it. well i do just that on screen keyboard is hard to get use to. never was able to with the touch a lil but i was never as fast as when im on the mogul.

i gotta find pix on it. when is the coming out for sure like what day for july. i have not seen anything through work about this yet.

ummm dude are you serious this has been said sooooo many times....... the touch pro aka raphael will take the place of the mogul since it has the keyboard and the touch diamond will take place of the touch without the keyboard which are the differences.

I got a question about the G sensor with the raphael. if youre in portrait mode but had it turn 90 degrees so its kinda in landscape mode then slide out the keyboard? is it gonna automatically change the screen to the correct position? and if you have the keyboard out does the G sensor still work?

Actually Dash, 480x640 refers to the number of pixels, not the size of the screen. It has 4x the pixels which = 4x smaller pixels which = much sharper picture. The screen will still be 2.8 inches, the same size, but look WAY better. Still sexy, but a bigger screen woulda been nice.

Question fellas...This phone has a forward facing camera for video calls, but i've NEVER seen a mobile video call outside of movies. Are US carriers' networks actually capable of that?...or is it internet based? or what's the deal with that? Will I be able to just call a buddy with a diamond/touch pro and have a vid convo? That'd be nice. Educate me people...

Aw man, good point. But is the EVDO network even capable of video calls? I've seen videos of video calls made on HTC and Nokia phones on the UMTS network. Come to think of it I've seen it on Verizon's EVDO network so I guess it is, but do you think Sprint could cripple it like they did with WM MMS for so long?

yes its sprint they can do anything and usually do lmao.... i think they are going to take video calling out from what i hear but they are adding the direct connect feature to this phone which would be nice.

I want to get the Htc Touch for verizon also known as the xv6900 but I dont want to end up getting 2 new phones for one year. So should i wait until probably december to get a new phone or should I get the Xv6900 mod it and be happy instead of waiting 5 months on getting a phone that may not be able for verizon until probably next year. Which one should I get.

cdma touch pro???? its not even released and neither is the gsm of the touch pro bro.... the diamond is but not the pro.... and no gsm roms and cdma roms aren't compatible with eachother.

yeah mostlikely becausemost people with the cdma are form america and lately it seems cdma is taking over for a lot of the providers since it is more reliable and faster.

Yeah and I bet threw Sprint the touch pro is going to be way cheaper than the unlocked version. That and you (D/\sh) and all the other guys on Wckediden that know everything about smart phones have Sprint.
