Hello!

After some failed GPS attempts with Other rom files for this phone, I found the one Dash has released located here.
Everything works Great, if Dash reads this I REALLY LIKE WHAT YOUR Doing!

The GPS Picks up on COM4, and using the GPS Viewer program the gps appears to detect sats. However it never gets a fix. They also always appear on the North Indicator on the compass. Sometimes I will detect 6-7 sats for a split second in different locations and directions, but never appears to lock on. This only occurs after allowing the program run for 5-10 mins. I followed the instructions listed in the thread above to a T.

Any Ideas?

well post in the thread of the rom that you are using because i need to know that to be able to help you.... there are quite a few roms out there.

i found it in these forums, Im at work with no access except through my phone. its the sprint radio with your (dash's) custom verizon rom posted/updated on 5/28

These are the rom files used, and the instructions followed. I let the GPS sit trying to fix, it took about 45 mins. Then I disconnected and re-connected still is taking for ever.

bro what did i say above!!!!! did you take out the battery and hard reset after the flash?
