help pls my mogul is getting slower.

Hi guys, hopefully somebody can help me out, i just downloaded some apps here from one of d/\sh threads. its called "d/\sh's mogul mods with straight download" i added most of the apps then added the sprint tv aswell. now my moguls running so slow. i used the "Htc performance plus" to overclock to 624 mhz and it still didnt work so i tried removing some apps now its takin me 10 mins just to take out apps like the keyboard app. to make the long story short i was able to take out some of the apps ( took me forever ) and also tried doing the soft and hard reset (didnt help). now its still working slow. im kinda noob here so any help would do. thanks.

i'm sure you didnt hard reset because you would be back to stock rom with nothing added up there and would be faster than you say it is now. where are you installing the programs to?

Sorry but i was able to get it fixed its just a matter of takin off some of the apps, thanks for the reply though. sorry also i put this thread on the wrong place. (noob here). thanks again

What apps did you take off? What apps did you leave on?

i think its the combination of the apps mobitv and sprint tv together. i dunno after i took out sprint tv it worked again. that's just it basically.

So are you saying that Sprint TV while NOT running is slowing down your Mogul. I dont understand. While the program is not running it is not using system resource's. It is however taking up ram. But, with that said I have ALOT of programs installed on my mogul. Sprint TV being one of them and the old Mobi TV hack is still sitting there. Though while not running my unit is sitting at 20.1 mb and not slow at all.

Maybe something else is amess here. What task manager are you using? Are you sure that the programs are closing when your are not using them? Or are they just going to the background and still running hence still using system resources and slowing down your phone?

How do you have 20 mb free? I have like 15 mb or 10 mb!!

Bro, take some time and read around the forum. D/\SH has some reg edits that really do help. There is also some software around the helps close out temp memory that is being used by the os. Later on if you cant find them Ill look around and post the links. But, if you search you should be able to find them. Let me know.

Also certain roms will allocate memory better.
