backlight brightness

ok, i saw the setting for the backlight brightness, ut for some reason it doesnt get brighter it stays the same. its aggrivateing because i cant see my screen at all when im outside. is there a way to fix it. like on the mobile shell there like a brightener than helped me it got really bright, but since i got the ultime vista theme i cant seem to get my backlight brighter. is there a program or something to make it brighter.

it will get brighter..... go all the way down andall the way up and you should see the difference.... if not theres something wrong with the phone or the flash didnt go through correctly if you flashed... what rom are you running btw.

im currently running windows professional 6 its the one the phone came with.i just tried bring the exteernal and the battery power brightness all the way down and up it doesnt change at all. the only thing i did was install the ultimate vista theme.

that wouldnt do it i would try to uninstall and see if it works and if not hard reset and than see and if still not than get a different phone.
