I've noticed this rom runs like doo-doo once all the Sprint stuff is installed. I can't wait for the Kaos **** Sprint 3.56. Two words: bad ass.

Also a side note: After upgrading to this ROM there is one area where I drop my call everyday when talking to my girl on the way home from work and yesterday it worked flawlessly all the way through. Has anyone else had similar results?

I CAN AGREE!! WTF!! I had absolutley NO ISSUES WITH KAOS TAKE2 ROM!! I have the exact same APPS installed and 3.56 defiantley has a issue with certain apps! For Example, I posted the other day how I was having issues with the EMAILS & messaging. So i hard reseted and immedatley setup my EMAILS. I has No problems retrieve and accessing them! so then I started to install my apps. I got half way into my list of apps and then soft reseted. I told myself "let me see if I can retrieve my EMAILS?" As of No Surprise, I was able to retrieve them still with no issues. Then after installing ALL MY apps, the issue Happened again. I couldn't retrieve my EMAILS anymore. i havent figured out what app it is that is causing this issue, as I DONT CARE! I am flashing back to kaos Take 2 ROM! All in all I can say this! MemorY LEAK issue has been somewhat resolved on this ROM that I can see. As for moding it out, THIS ISN'T THE ROM to do it with! So KAOS THANKS for making a Kick ass ROM! And As the member above said ...this is and SMELLS LIKE Doo-DoO!

(nobody read my first post on this anyways... but its ok) I will be waiting for kaos take 3 tho... brew that shit up bro.... we like it... we love it... we want more of it! That so far has been the best rom, more stable than the nightmare rom anyway, at least with my apps... so big ups to kaos....

Yea bro I flashed to KAOS TAKE 2 and installed EVERY SINGLE APP that was on 3.56 and NO ISSUES as far as EMAILS, messaging, or Syncing Issues! KAOS ROM MAKE THIS ROM LOOK LIKE A PLAYPIN!

lol you gys are funny, we wre beasting on the official 6.1 to bust out and here it is and now nobody wants it lol, we all kno sprint roms are packed with their shit and like mentioned above, wth custom roms the chefs take out the bullshit that sprint adds on. I flashed my mogul which i got back so nw i got 2 phones with this rom and i have no issues here being said i got 15 apps installed. Its different with everybody and some people have problems and some dont. so far i like the non lagginess on th 6.1 and threaded smstat the unofficial roms have, and i like the new interface on the nav, and im getting bettr speeds then i did n older roms, im getting about 2.6 megs download and 1.3 megs on upload speed and before it was usually 1.5 megs DL, and 800 kbs UL.... go rev A woo hooo

After reading through this thread entirely and waiting a few days do decide whether or not I am going to upgrade, you guys have led me to believe that this really isn't a great rom. Thanks for your input, and perhaps I will base
n1ghtm4r3 deux edition off of this rom, but I will do more research before I make that Decision.

Hello been watching the forum now for a while on this leaked rom. It is a leaked rom and I'm sure that is why they let it out just prior to release, If no one wants to take it then I would say with all the mods and cooked Rom that are actually better then I would hold off, I think I am going to take a watch and see myself. Was noticing that the WiFi router program is having issues getting installed. I am a IT consultant and travel a lot across the country and in Northern and Southern California, I use that program a lot while in the field. I am sure they have gotten wind of it and are going to try and install API's that will block the use of it. I am going to wait for the official release and see how the programs install and then maybe take the plunge after I read the feedback.

this is the official release of the rom my boy from corporate backed the numbers up and read them to me before i read to him so this is the one that they will be releasing.

yes they will as already stated in the thread please read this is the official that dcd adn some others got early from sprint and my boy confirmed the numbers are the official roms being released in the next couple weeks.

you need to sync with your pc regualrly. then flash. then sync back.!

Anyone else having problems with the full QWERTY keyboard not staying out in the Sprint Navigation login screen? I have to switch keyboards prior to opening Sprint navigation to get a keyboard for login.

Other than that, I've got Ultimate Launcher, HTC Home Customizer, HTC Audio Manager, and Weather Panel working with no problems.

So far so good with this rom. I'm running everything I ran before with no problems. Memory leak seems to have improved greatly! Used to soft reset a couple times a day. Now, I don't have to at all.

I have the Alarm triangle sound from a palm device and the its not loud anymore but sound strange. I also have several out sounds and alerts that are not sounding right. Other then that I have not had any issues running a lot of these mods. I loaded the over clocking program and it gave me more headaches so I took it off. Other then that I like the ROM release, I wish they had put in the emotion icons like they did in the hack for threaded sms. Anyone else having issues with sound files?

Yes. When I went to the SprintNav the first time, it gave me a login screen. While I was in that screen with the onscreen full qwerty keyboard selected; it does not stay visible long enough to input anything. If I go back to the calendar or notes and select a different onscreen keyboard, there is no problem.

Just wondered if it's my Touch or if anyone else had seen that.

Figured this one out myself so I thought I would post. WMP 10 on WM 6.1 does not support midi files. I'm going to have to see if someone has a windows mobile palm with version 6.1 and see id they made the Alarm Triangle sound a wave file. But if you guys are having issues with MIDI then there you be.

I keep checking the HTC site and still showing the March 10 rom. Interesting. I might try the Kao's rom, Its just going through all the SPL unlocking stuff that makes me think twice about it. Anyway, Will keep an eye out and see what HTC decides to do with the ROM.

I think this ROM SUCKS!! Kaos Take 3 ROM isnt based of 3.56 ROM. Its based off NO2CHEM and i HIGHLY RECCOMEND KAOS TAKE 3 ROM OVER THIS! I would even recommend take 2 before this DOO DOO ROM!

because dude we dont use the stock roms because we know form the past that sprint isnt going to make a new one so we just plain old stay on custom roms until a custom based off of the new is made.......... and we do have lives too and cant make the roms and test the originals also.

Haha, was just wondering you guys. I am very happy with the custom roms and will be keeping take 3 until another comes out. Whenever that may be. I won't try to rush brilliance here. (at least not without some huge donations)
