Well, I went ahead and followed the steps I posted above and I am glad to say that everything worked out beautifully and perfectly! I did not have any problem registering the software using Keygen. On that note, I am curious to know does Keygen work just with this particular program?

Also, according to the Keygen application, this was for mobile shell version 2. Does this include the latest version 2.1? Thanks!

well if the keygen worked meaning it shows you registerd then you are good. the keygen is for a particular app and cannot be used on just any app! Hope this answers your question. :focus:

Well, I installed the mobile shell version that is linked on the first page of this thread and I am sorry to say that I believe it is not the final build because it has a number of bugs. For example,when you go into the Today screen, you aren't presented with a button at the lower right corner of the screen that reads Swcked Shell like you do on the version that I downloaded from the company website. Instead, both corners of the screen read Contacts. Another bug is when you set a dialer to appear on your Today screen. In the previous trial version I had, you could change a contact by simply holding down the contact person and selecting edit. This version just begins to dial.

Are you sure this is the latest version of Mobile Shell 2.1? If not, how do I get it with the proper keygen?

thats not a bug you have to change the tabs on the bottom through the options of mobile shell.

I went through all the tabs and it still wouldn't work right. So I decided to get some rest since it was getting late, but I couldn't stop thinking about why it wasn't working right. It worked like a charm! Everything is now where it should be and works as expected. Thanks! Now, as for getting the additional photo contact pages so that I can go beyond the limited 16 contacts, am I going to have to change themes or something?

Now that I successfully installed Mobile Shell and have it somewhat configured to my liking, I have a few questions and issues that I need help with:

ISSUE #1: Before I made the decision to perform a hard reset on my device so that I could just start everything from scratch and avoid making some mistakes I made the first time around, I had installed and was running trial versions of both Swcked Mobile Shell 2.1 And Swcked Pocket Plus. I recently installed the version of Mobile Shell found on this thread and mostly everything seems to work as before with the exception that I can't get the appointments from my Windows Live Calendar sync and show up on my Now screen. I've tried selecting Windows Live and have tried to sync my calendar and everything with device, but this one aspect doesn't seem to carry over. I have also gone through the Mobile Shell tabs but don't see anything that would display my upcoming appointments. Was this a Pocket Plus feature?

ISSUE #2: Through Mobile Shell, I set up my phone to have the Now screen be my default screen. Yet, whenever I turn my device off and on, it begins in the Today screen. Any idea why?

no that is pocket plus and it should work without problems unless you have anotehr app on your phone with thw same option that you have check in that case both would get cancelled out.
