Where to begin???

My head hurts trying to gather all the useful information from this forum. I know just enough to be dangerous and I'm still trying read and learn more.

I'm a new HTC Mogul user on the Sprint network. I switched to Sprint from Verizon for the cost/benefits of Sprint.

Where is a good starting point? or am I missing the starting point? LOL

you could look at the side menu and the programs or even the htc utube we have above the chat box........ get ideas and look around because your phone is your canvas and the apps are your paints..... make it original and stand out bro...... we all have our own style and each style is cool and efficient in its own way.

As for the apps and what not, I will have to spend some time looking at what is on here. Before I start doing any apps, do people generally apply a new ROM to the phone with WM 6.1?

Thanks for the help! So I can pick and choose different apps etc, but what about ROMs? I was just looking over the supported ROMs and trying to make sense of the different releases. Are there multiple people building different ROMs?

The more important question so I understand better. I read about a leaked ROM that supposedly Sprint was going to release that has WM 6.1 and some other fixes. Do these custom ROMs available here incorporate that?

I'm sorry for the newbie questions. As soon as I understand the big picture, everything else will come more easily.

yes there are a few roms based off the unofficial "official" sprint rom that has wm6.1, ect...i would recommend trying kaos's take 3 rom

read DASH how to flash walk through its very handy.. BUT.. BUT i did have a issue with trying to flash my mogul and i MYSELF could not get it to work so i sent if off to dash and he did it for a small fee... he had a issue with it also?? it bricked so he sent me a different mogul he had.. not really sure what the issue is with my orginal mogul??? he did no chem 6.1. I just upgraded to kaos 6.1 take 3.. BAD ASS rom.. really fast!

hahaha yup you got a brand new one out of it and i got a 128 meg of ram beast of a mogul!!!!!!!
