lovin tha rom! only issue im having is the beaming info. under comm mgr when i select beam it brings up the wait icon (like it wants to start than closes) it will receive info but when i try to send it always says it failed.

Awesome rom man....I have the alltel version and i was wondering if I had to do something in particular to activate the MMS...the someguymms program says it is for sprint picmail, which i have no access to. Anyone know how this could work?

There is a hack out there for Alltel MMS. Dont know the name sorry i have sprint. But i have read that we have it here.

Got this installed and working great, other then I can't Bluetooth from my computer to phone anymore.
I can connect, it just don't respond to the computer trying to send the file. Computer says device did not respond. Any ideas? Thanks

mayvbe there is a conflict with your previous partnership. You can alwasys delete that partnership and try again!

dont know if this will help you or not, i was having that problem too as well as active sync, closed my extended rom and it worked agian, i dont know, but everytime i tried going into the exteded rom, my device would lock up, forcin hard reset, so i reflashed and closed it from the start, and everything is smooth again

I'll assume by that you mean you're getting the errors when you try to flash the rom. If that's the case, then yes you'll need to unlock it. Check the signature from Dash (probably a few posts back) for links to the threads that tell you how to unlock the bootloader as well as where to get the app to do so.

If you've already flashed and you're getting the error, we need more details, like where and when.

playa I have do it but reading is a wonderful thing, if you did read this post and others you will find that all ROMS that are not from HTC or SPRINT are custom ROMS and the handset needs to be unlock, if you need to know how read all post its plain as day even in KAOS sign how to flash a ROM, now I know that asking a question is faster but I.ve been told numerous times to: READTHE POST BEFORE ASKING A DUMB QUESTION, because the question is already address. Always start in the begining with a note pad and write stuff down, it will get you far and get all software before attempting to flash and READ the tutorials over and over to get a good understanding. Hope this helps.

That would be the other link in Dash's sig about the groups you need to register for. However it can take them a while to get you added (these guys have lives too), so if you do a little googling for Olipro 2.4 you'll probably find what you need in the meantime.

that is correct or below the chatbox on the main page you will find a link for join a group. just sign up for members software.

thats what I was looking for was the name of the unlocker, sometimes its a little hard to navigate all this stuff, especially when you have the attention span of a chimp like me. :P

why did you link over there while we have it here though!!!!!! you do that somewhere else and you would be banned........ jsut be careful not to do in the future.......... we have a developers page in all the releases to give credit for a reason.

you guys are killing me. I had requested to get access to the developers page, but have been restricted. (well as of a couple hours ago) I had no idea what was in there, I was just trying to be helpful. It looks as if I have access now, so thanks for that :)

D/\sh seems to be a pretty smart dude, I have been checking out his mods on the Treos and the HTC products...very impressive work AND very clean.

yeah I got it, very clean ROM, I am having a problem with speed however, I loaded the throttle today pugin and its just crawlin, gonna try to kitchen up a new stripped down one like Big Jews diamond theme simple. I don't need all that fancy stuff just need the thing fast so I don't wig out like I do at red lights.

my next project is to get to the illusive red led on my vogue and map it to signal. (unless I just missed that topic somewhere-dont wanna get too far off subject.)

All in all I love this ROM, as far as features go its setup just right

hey kaos is there anyway you can make it so we flash these roms just like we did for your first two roms? that was working for me and a lot of other ppl i know very well. it seemed a lot more simpler man. this right here just seems a lil too complex or maybe i am just missin somethin. could really use your help bro.

If you're referring to the programs Kaos lists under the ROM, then all of those come stock with the ROM. You only need to use what you want. I don't think anyone will make a list detailing everything nice and easy for you as to what they do. So, do a search here for those apps and read and learn. And to edit your registry, you need a Registry Editor....yes like Resco Registry Editor.

Hey all,

a bit new to this and did some reading for a bit I am a bit stuck on the radio version. I had the pleasure of freaking out with the boot loader screen and stopping and going to dinner and coming back to try again.

So right now I have the loader rom installed and am trying to update the radio but it gets to 8% and quits, says that it is the wrong version. Am I trying to update the wrong ROM to my mogul? I got it from the first page of the post, my radio is at 3.35 something something. I wanted to update the radio before the hybread rom, which many have implied its safer. It shouldn't be a problem to leave the phone running on the boot loader rom right?

mmk to put this in lamens terms.

unlock phone
install radio
install rom

that should do the trick.
without proper rom on start up you will lock at boot screen.

The phone is unlocked, unless I skipped something. I loaded the unlocked and it was stuck in the red blue green screen, and used the titan boot loader exit to get out. Then I synced back up and had no luck loading the proper radio. Got to 8% and said it was the wrong version.

thanks for the help monkeyxiv, but no luck. Reloaded the unlocker and exited the command prompt after update and still no luck, at 8% it stops and says error 328, this update utility cannot be used for your PDA phone.

then run the radio version

then run rom?

Yup pretty sure thats what i did. I opened the SPL unlocker followed the instructions, hit ctrl C to close the prompt. Then while the screen was still white blue green and red and RUUNU in the upper right hand corner, i ran the radio.exe (when i mean i ran it, thats the 8% error i got, it stopped and rebooted the pda and then i was at the red white blue green screen again) and thats as far as i got.

Is that the proper way to unlock it? Am I maybe missing something after loading the boot loader and installing the rom?
