Kaos Parting ways with HTC Mogul {MUST READ}

Yes title says it all....sad to say...My mogul has suffered serious damage to the port pins..After days of trying to get it replaced through sprint and asuiran.Nothing has worked.I have been told by all that mogul's are back ordered that they can not give me a date as to when i would receive it.at least 3 to 4 weeks.I was very livid. so livid i threatened to cancel 4 accounts if a resolution wasn't met...To my surprise THEY CANCELED MY ACCOUNTS. I called sprint back and voiced my opinion again.Got my accounts reactivated.knocked bill this month from 120 to 32 bucks For their reps mistreatment...plus went from 10% off monthly to 15%.plus Sprint finally offered to give me a touch instead of waiting till god knows when for a mogul free of charge. all i have to do is return the mogul to them.So in conclusion it leaves me no choice..I need gps to do my job. I need a phone for life.I took the offer.So next few days i will be getting a brand new in box touch.To my mogulers.It is a sad day for me.I will miss my keyboard. To my touch users.I am going to be releasing roms for the touch now.Mogulers if testers are available i will still help you all out with roms.I know them like the back of my hand.But the free trade i had to take cause i need a phone.I hope you all understand. I didn't want to use my 2 yr 150 credit so this was my only choice.Im saving the 2 yr credit for my touch pro.that rumor is from all the sprint reps i talked to is dropping very very soon.

tell me about it..touch should be here by friday. my mogul still works but only charges and adapter is wedged into it....pc no longer sees....it seems moguls are become harder and harder to locate....i even tried to buy new....still weeks wait...

well, the querty is definitely the way to go

-not to crap your thread - but i highly suggest the Touchpal, its T9 is much more predictive, and i cuss alot on txts and it predicts them, too, lol...just my thoughts...

and its got querty and numpad as well

Oh you poor poor man. Life without a hard keyboard. I cannot know your pain. Well, one more tester for you here...for the next 2-5 weeks. I'm on that touch pro too, day 1. If anyone needs a mogul after that, I'll be sellin.

P.S. There's a guy in my city sellin a box new mogul for $400 right now. If you or anyone's interested, I'd be glad to get his info for you.

KAOS while it is a sad sad day. Its almost like waiting for funeral announcements for a friend. But on the brighter side im glad to hear you are still into the mogul roms as i have only ran yours besides the original pre gps sprint rom. damn bro imma honest and say iv never used ur roms... but i can understand and feel ur pain, what sux is this past saturday me, my girl and her friend went to sprint and got moguls.. they liked what i had on my phone so they gottem... NOW, what sux is the sprint dude was telling me no one realy buys the ppc's... i guess its too much or they dont know how to usem but he was saying theres so many here he'd hook me up with a NEW IN BOX MOGUL,AND CAR CHARGER for 200 bux... no trade/new line none of that just straight 200...if i wouldv caught this post sooner i wouldv gladly got it and sent it ur way...paypal of cource, but u wouldv had ur phone, where i work we have our own mail system so i couldv shippd it out there FREE thx to my building. sorry man but hey, EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON...

That's bogus (haven't heard that particular word in quite a while)! I used to help manage a Sprint store (even opened one down here in Florida) until I got totally fed up with their staff promoting philosophy. Now I've got a job that pays more and is five times better. But I remember the occasional abuse that would go with the job (saw flying phones and kicking and screaming people -- sheesh). You had to have teflon shoulders since it wasn't personal. Otherwise, there was no point for even being in that job. For someone to actually cancel your account is untenable and vindictive. More than likely this loser is no longer a Sprint employee. Oh, and I had the same problem with my port last month. The pins were all mangled just before my vacation and I took it down to the local Sprint store. They swapped it on the spot (probably since I had hired some of them). Helps to be a legend :brows: Seriously, I feel your pain, but new toys is new toys. We'll miss you on the bright side.
