VITO Technology SMS Chat v1.1
Requirements: WM5 WM6
Overview: SMS-Chat threads text messages from a conversation together so that you can read the incoming texts and your replies to them sequentially without having to maneuver in and out of your Inbox and Sent Item

The new version of SMS-Chat supports black skin in HTC touch style. Other minor changes include:
The notification window disappears when you tap the screen outside it.
When clicking the cross icon the notification closes and message shows as unread in chat.
Quick scroll has appeared for long chats.
Clicking the name in the chat opens a contact details
It is possible to minimize the application right from the chat.
Dates in chats are shown the same way as in the WM system

Templates for quick answers
Forward, resend or delete messages
Active links and phone numbers, onscreen alerts
Multiple sms sending

if you go to the developers page it will tell you the changes from version to version.

how can I make this app my default app....when i get a text this app pops up and i use it to text......but on my text button under my clock it still shows all the same text messages......I want all my text just to be in this app only

you cant we have discussed this before jsut map in the programs of the htc home plugin or as a soft key.

I dont know if this guy ever found his .cab file for this sms chat but i do know that you have it included in a zip file dash on another thread.

there is the link and its under the little think that says attached files. Only download the one that says apps that go with the diamond. Just extract those files and you will find vito sms in there. Thats the same version as on here.

Hey i had a question....that cab. file that he was talking about thats on that diamond app....that one says it expires in 14 days..unlike the previous versions where they didn't expire. Is there anyway around that on the new Vito SMS version? Or would I have to buy it?....just curious.

as i said jsut above your post all you have to do is overwrite the diz file and you will be golden......

hey guys. i have vito funcontact 2.15 and sms chat 1.1 and i love them because they are so easy to use. Thanks for uping those links. One thing that started to happent recently is that when i click on a contact on funcontact and then click on the message symbol to start a text and start typing. i always get this error that says a problem has occured with smschat.exe. now this only happens when i start a text with someone i dont already have a threaded message with. anyone know why?

just drag over to where it is right now and than once you do that it will ask you to overwrite.

guys guys guys you make this way to hard. it coems with a .exe installer. take and run it and it will do EVERYTHING for you... all you gotta do is active sync up

its not that you have to replace the diz file otherwise it wont allow it to be cracked..... please read the whole thread since this has been the issue for the past page.

Ok...Im trying to do it over my computer but not really familiar with doin this cause I've never had to do this type of override thing over the computer...I usually just download the cab. files to my phone.....could you possibly give me a walk through on how to override the diz. file over the computer......if not its koo. I might be making this more complicated than it is.......:triste:

you take the file and drag it to the phone somewhere! (storage card is always a good spot). Then from the phone you go to file explorer/Storage Card/ file. Find the file you copied. Press and hold the file. in the menu, click copy! then go to the location file directory of where the app is installed. then click menu, edit, paste. It will ask you to overwrite, click yes. soft reset and the app is full version! Goodluck :noob:

there isnt a cab for this as of yet....... you will have to go the route of the exe file unless one is included in the zip file from the first post of this thread.

never heard of that problem.... you night have sometihng else installed thats interferring..... have you installed anything thatn had this problme arise?

that would do it....... the stock sprint rom causes troubles with many apps... the custom still work like a dream.
