PPC 6800 Rom Fllashing(Custom)

This is my first time flashing a custom rom and Kaos's take 3 looks real good. I read Dash's instructions and researched all the programs needed only to be told that i don't have permisssion to access the page to get the tools i need. I'm scared to use google bcuz tried and caught a virus on computer, so if any one could help me with getting the tools i need i would really appreciate and thxs in advance. And also is Kaos take 3 the only custom rom for mogul?:yahoo:

Click the Help Desk link on the toolbar at the top and select Join Groups. Register for Member Software. It'll take them a day or so (maybe less) to get you added, but you'll then be able to download the stuff you need.

And no, there are tons of custom roms around (not to mention tools to help you build you own, but you should probably save that till you're more familiar). Kaos just happens to put out damn good roms that are favored quite highly around here.

Ok, so I have never flashed before and I'm looking to flash to Kaos's take 3 ROM and I was just wondering that I need to upgrade my radio first, right? Also, can I just go to take 3, or are there things I need from other custom ROMs? One more question, is flashing through a SD card the same as through USB? I have been looking for a tutorial on how to flash via SD card from stock rom to custom and I havent found anything. Also wondering if there is a video tutorial on flashing to a custom ROM anywhere, because personally I am a visual learner. A video flashing tutorial would be a great idea.

p.s., you don't literally have to go in and change any hardware (radio), so let's not start demolishing a perfectly good phone, lol....

kaos rom is the s&*t.. once u get authorize download the unlocker(2.40) for mogul, have your ruu file ready with rom of choice..
