Default Hard Reset and restore question

I just did a hard reset and then restored to a backup file I had just made with Sprite Backup. Everything restored perfectly except that I noticed I have 20mb less space than I did before I did that whole process. Is this common?

ok you back up hard reset and than restore???? you just backed up all the troubles that you were having thus why you have less space..... hard reset and than start over and than once you got everything correct do a backup..... thats how the app is supposed to be used.

Sorry, not sure why I said that. I had used a backup from a couple of weeks ago, but had less programs installed (the ones I think caused the problems). I remember I had 75mb free at the time when I made that backup. After the hard reset and restore, I now have 56mb free. Im just not sure how 20 more mb are being used. The backup file was stored on a memory card, so I know its not that file.
