We in the general Miami area are SOL. However, I found out that when I was up in Melbourne for a weekend that it worked there just fine. It must be disabled in specific areas so far as I can tell.

prolly cause of area and something being blocked jsut like with mobitv because i get around 35-40 stations in michigan. and there is nothing special that you have to do.

I'm not sure what has happened here in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area, however, I installed the 'Internet Sharing Fix' cab from Dash and reinstalled the htchome-2.1-n2aupx cab and went to MobiTv for grins and the dam thing worked. I had been without it for a few months now. Welcome Back... :yahoo:

i have NO idea what the heck is going on with this program. it hasn't worked for me in a long time. no matter what rom i load, i never get the 3 days message. just tries to force me to purchase.

that being said, i reinstalled the sprint rom as a basis to install the big jew rom. after installing the big jew rom, i honestly didn't like it so i switched back to the sprint rom. i then decided to switch back to OMJ sprint rom (all within about an hour). when i was setting up all my software, i noticed i still had the cab file for this so i reinstalled just for the hell of it. and i'll be damned if the thing started working. it gave me the 3 days message again. i have no idea how or why it's working but it is.

I installed this running Take_3_Hybread_Alltel_edition and Mobi worked fine but XM didn't work,
I went back to 3.35.671.9_RS_TITAN_03.37.20_Alltel . Now XM works and mobi stopped working.
I guess it depends on the rom you are using.

Just use handiTV... It works for those that are less fortunate to have Sprint TV or MobiTV.

Yes, I soft reset every day. I even manually went into the startup folder and ran the rest app and nothing, still asking me to buy.

I unintalled, did a soft reset, reinstalled, another soft reset and it still asks me to buy.

I guess i will hard reset and restore.

Has anyone else had this issue?

:lol: This app was working and then got BL! So some people are getting it to work and others are having issues like yourself. This has been discussed. I use Sprint TV or HANDI TV!

The only reason I wanted this app is because Sprint is gypping me on my Sprint TV. I pay for Ultimate Vision unlimited or some shit, the one for $25. I was told at the Sprint Store when I upped my contract that it is supposed to include all Sprint TV channels. Well I am being charged an additional $9.99 a month for the premium channels for some reason, on top of the $25 data plan. I've talked to CS twice on this issue and they tell me that it is not included. **** that. Am I wrong, or are they?

You will get most known chanels, but its completely different. Try it out and let us know what you think. I would also look into the SIMPLY EVERYTHING PLAn, so you dont have to worry about paying all the extra features.

ummm it does i use it with sprint and tmobile for my dads phone.... this works on all ppc's and smartphones without having to worry bout providers.

downloaded this yesterday and works great (Alltel HTC6800) - popped up the first 3 times I used it indicating I have 3 days left on the trial period. Used it again just now and didn't get that original popup. Will repost after the weekend and let you know if the soft reset works.

cool im glad that xm radio and themusic match asre working. as for mobitv it is a hit or moss to tell the truth.... when i was up in michigan it worked fine and now that im down iin new hampshire it doesnt work...... basically depends on your area as you could prolly sum up through what has been said in this thread.

I hate to be annoying, but has anyone had any luck on getting MobiTV to work again? I recently moved from San Diego to Los Angeles and it didn't work in both. I'm desperate because I don't have a TV where I live, and I won't for a while. Also, what is the best alternative? I don't like HandiTV, and when I try SprintTV I can only see the guide and nothing will stream (could it be cuz i usw Cloudyfa Esmertec Jbed?)
