Every time i slide my phone closed the back light on the screen goes out and when i try to turn the phone back on it doesent do it i have to take out the battery and turn it back on.I have tryed 4 hard resets flashed a older rom any help?

sounds lie some sort of hardware problem........ this prolly startied happening when you went from a gps rom to a non gps rom didnt you...... if so you messed the phone up and got yourself a nice paperweight.
