I would also like to know where you got this information Dash...unless they have a video showing obama as a baby or a young man going through whatever muslims go through to join that faith than he is not muslim...not that being muslim is wrong or anything...I just don't like how people designate him as muslim because of his name...could that be any more ridiculous...my name is taken out of the bible, and yes I am a christian, but I could very well be another christian denomination like catholic, or be a buddist, or even a muslim...what my parents named me is of no consequence and has no bearing on who I am, have become, and will continue to be...especially since at birth I really had no real control of over the choice of my name...people with normal names like George Bush and George Bush JR. sure haven't done anything for the betterment of this country, now have they....I am just shocked at some of the stuff I hear on here...I'm not saying that I love OBAMA...I have read both mccains and Obama sites inside out...I have seen plenty of their interviews and speeches...in person and on television...I know where they stand...some stuff mccain wants to do I can agree with and alot I don't agree with and the same can be said for obama...but when I hear the 2 of them speak...its just another thing...I hear an intelligence in obama voice and the way he articulates something that shows me that he will make the right decisions for this country...and when I hear mccain, he just sounds different from the man I knew him as 4-8 years ago...I used to really like mccain...especially in the first race for president against bush...if there was a president I would have chosen on a republican side, he would have been it...and even after bush first won...mccain was outspoken senator on capitol hill, but now the world has changed...america's situation has changed and now he has changed, and not totally in our best interest...
