dash, no not the weather screen, when i go into setup for ultimate launch. Your supposed to get the tabs area's, where you have the hidden tab, that you call the htc home, you called it the hidden seventh tab. I only get five tabs i never get six or the hidden tab, i can push that area all day and in never does anything, all the rest of my set up screens are just like yours in the video. I dont know, i hope you understand that a little better

Bro, I guarantee your question has already been addressed in this thread. Please read. If you figure it out on your own, you'll be better off for it, but I'll guide you a little bit. The # of tabs that appear on your UL are dependent on what you have installed on your phone. HTC Home is a separate plug in that you would have to have on your phone and set up yourself. UL can have as many tabs as you want. Just play around with the set up options. It's not that hard, as you will see it has options like "New, Change, Delete," etc. Read this thread and play with the app.

Those numbers shouldn't matter I don't think (I have all 0s on mine). Make sure your name above the numbers matches your owner name set up in your phone.

thaty wont matter because when you register the program you can use any digits......... you have to register the app the first time you open the configuration otherwise you will get that.... so if you didnt do that i would hard reset and get er done first beofre you exit the config page of ul.

are you talking on the htc home plugin? if so you have to get the 6 button weather fix for it and that can be found here: https://www.wckediden.com/showthread...hlight=weather

hahaha not too far (NH) ok heres the straight cab file all you have to do is just drag over to your storage card than double click and install to the main memory..... (there is no zip or nothing jsut a straight drag over for you.)

yes all you have to do is go to start/settings/system/remove programs.

thats the prada plugin and from your post after this i dont know what you are doing wrong because it works for everyone else without troubles.... try to change every one of the number and not leave any on the starting numbers.

ALRIGHTY THEN! i got it installed and working, just need a little more help with the cofig.....my contacts icon isn't working the default link is (/windows/start menu/contacts.lnk) is that correct??? also, i don't have that "invisible tab", do i need to add it like the vids show or what? my regular today screen is still showing at the top instead of the UL one that you guys have on the vids, and i was trying to "uncheck" that box in settings like the vid said, but like i said i don't have that tab..........

does not matter which one u install first

make sure the only thing that u have selected under your today items is UL ...

when u change anything in HTC customizer it automatically enables it on your today screen.. u will have to go back in phone settings and uncheck HTC plugin

Read just a couple of pages back, and your question has been answered, and if you read a little more, you'll be an expert. The "invisible" tab in the vid is a plugin for HTC Home, which you have to install yourself. UL can have as many tabs as you want. "invisible" just means it's not labeled. Trust me that reading this thread will help you tons.

Did all of what? Respond with the quote you're responding to in the thread so we know what you're talking about. Cause if I look at the last post responding to you, it talks about HTC customizer and the activation has nothing to do with that. As far as activation goes, at this point, I have no idea why it's not working for you, because most other people have not had any problems with that. I say keep playing with it (unistall, reinstall, etc.)

if your using a different contacts rather than the stock you will have to add that to the launcher. for that all you have to do is highlight that and change where it has the number to having nothing...... and the reason your regular screen is showing is because only supposed to have ultimate launch checked under start/settings/personal/today/items.... let me know how that goes and please in the future read through some of the thread since this was all answered many times thus the reason for the thread being so long.

try a hard reset you must have done something to the registry to tweak it out.

Hi,

I loaded the ultimate launcher and I love it. Only issue is that I also have the icube loaded and when I slide my finger to turn the launcher the icube opens. Is there a way to just disable the left to right finger motion that opens the icube so that I can just open the icube with up down and work the launcher right left.

Keep in mind also, that you are talking about two different apps. 1 is HTC Home, and 2 is HTC Home Customizer (HHC). THe plugin for UL is HTC Home which you have to have installed on your phone already if you want to run it in UL. HHC is an app that you use to modify HTC Home (and not a plugin). You might want to just download HTC HOme and HHC, get used to those for a bit, read the UL thread in its entirety, and then try getting UL to work. Just a suggestion.

Hi,

I had the question about being able to disable icube right to left so I could use ultimate launcher without bringing up icube so that I could use both. I found a way to do it. change action on right to left to close minimizeApp instead of openSpinRight. This way when you spin the cube on the ultimate launcher right to left it won't open the icube. Of course you will only be able to spin the cube left to right, because spining right to left will close the cube. Oh Well now I can use both.

Don't think of it in terms of "advanced." All apps will only do what the phone will allow them to do. Think in terms of functionality and personal preference. There are an endless number of apps and ways that you can mod your phone. Having said all of that, please search bro. They are all here. Check out more of Dash and Kaos and Big Jews videos on You Tube and try to catch keywords and then search for them here. Or simply go into the different areas of the site and try stuff out. install it, play with it, but most of all, read. There is tons of information in most threads. One other app that's pretty popular around here is called Throttlelauncher. Do a search for it here and try it out. Good Luck.
