OMJ's 3.03 WM6.1 Custom Touch ROMs w/ User Customization! Updated 8/11/08

Here are my Custom roms based off the new *Official* Bell & Sprint roms. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/B][/CENTER]

CE OS 5.2.19208 BUILD 19208.1.0.1

*Before flashing these roms....*

-You MUST unlock w/ ImCokeMan's v2.31 unlocker

Bell 3.03.08 based roms:

-I recommend Flashing the Official Bell rom .exe to upgrade your radio to 3.42.50 (skip post-flash Customization if you're non-Bell)(If you are a Bell user, let the Customization run)

ok, here is a clean rom based on the new Bell. As usual, carrier customization has been removed, User Customization added, so yes, let it run!

This rom is fairly generic, but most Bell roms are.....This can be flashed to any carrier.

• Removed stock junk
• Replaced Bell BootSplash w/ HTC
• Added 1% battery
• Added the thin Signal bars
• Added Device Lock
• Added Inbox, "mark all as read"
• Added Roaming Only option
• Bell Music left in, access via Cube
• The usual regedits
• Carrier Customization removed, but cabs are in \windows
• Added User Customization

Here is the custom version, one thing you'll notice is the new default HTC Home icons :D

Ok, I decided to build a Clean/Generic version first!!! Carrier customization has been replaced w/ User Customization, so YES let it run. None of the carrier customizations have been added (Telenav, Sprint TV, Opera, etc), but all the cabs are in \windows.

PagePool is set to 16, I've included the pagepool change if you would like to modify....personally, I have mine set to 24.

• 1% battery status
• ICS tethering fix, set to "Data Connection"

• Updated AudioPara for improved volume

yo just beat me to the punch dashy, well supposedly the signal is way better on this rom but gps lock is a bit slower then on sprints.....

Hi,

I have been looking all over for a cool custom rom like this that gets rid of all the sprint crap. I think that there might be a problem with it thought because when i try to use it, it sends my phone into an endles restart loop (unless its connected to usb then it doesnt reset) but as soon as I take it off, it starts resetting. this happens both with the clean and the user customized rom. I did flash the sprint factory rom to update the radi and did use the unlocker first.

IMCokeman told me it was probably because the radio version, and the rom version didnt match up or something like that. I would appreciate any help with this taht you may be able to offer.

You can go to HTC site download the latest rom and radio or the stock roms are posted here at Wckediden. Flash the stock rom then then this or any custom rom of your choice. You are flashing to a Touch correct

yes im flashing to a sprint touch and before i flashed it, it was updated to the latest rom/radio downloaded from the htc sprint site. now im trying to get it back to the factory rom and it always gets an error 262 at 29%

its stopping otherwise you would have a brick... you CANT go from a gps rom to a non gps rom without doing some damage at least.... (usually bricks)

Maybe im not understanding. All i thought i was doing was unlocking the phone then flashing a dejunked rom that would work with sprint. I wasnt aware that it was missing or using a different GPS? I followed the all the instructions...

At this point, any suggestion on just getting my phone back to factory rom? how can i get arround the 29% issue?

i just told you, you did go to the official rom on your phone when you flashed the WM 6.1 rom. that also enabled gps for turn by turn gps with voice and google maps, etc... but if you go back to the WM6 rom your gonna mess your phone up.. thus why it stops to protect you

Just out of curiosity, are you ever planning on making a dejunked rom like the one above for 6.1?

The sad thing is i dont use any gps or internet on my phone, i dont have it through sprint. If i would have known, i wouldnt have done the sprint rom upgrade. From what ive read, it wouldnt be a good idea to try and go back to an older rom with an older radio.
