Pilot My-Cast v7 by Garmin.

It's a Java based program used by, well anyone, but probably mostly by pilots. It provides several different types of weather data and forecasts. It also has a weather map that shows a current animated weather radar. I currently have a previous version (4.xx) that is cracked if anyone needs it. I am sorry I do not have the app on my laptop (it is on my desktop at home) but I can get it uploaded if anyone is interested in the older version.

i jsut looked into it and upon further look it is a monthly charge server side that auto bills so there is going to be no way to get a crack for the newest version.

Will do! I will be home in 3 days and will put it up then. I have been using it for about a year now and it has come in very handy. Dumb question but do I just click on the manage attachments below under attach files and attach it that way (in the reply to this post section)? Thought I better ask first before I either mess it up or upset someone.

if it's a huge file, and i'm sure it is. you're better off linking it from somewhere else like rapidshare or megaupload. and then posting the link on the site so others can download

If I remember correctly it wasn't that big. Just in case what is the limit to use the attachment option on Wckediden vs going to rapidshare or megaupload? I do not have an account at either so I will need to get one if it is to big to post that way.

i don't really know the limit on Wckediden but i usually just link from rapidshare or megaupload to not add to Wckediden server. save space you know. it should be free to upload to rapidshare and megaupload without having to register.

Are there any programs that lock the device more than just the touch screen such as locking text so you need a PIN to unlock to read them and to lock photo's or just lock the device in general because my HTC Touch when i click lock just gives me a thing to tap unlock twice n then it opens i was hoping there was a way to lock it with a PIN or just pics and text messages cause thats all i really want to lock. if used the search and found nothing so if theres already such a program would you mind hyperlinking it for me.

Here is that Pilot MyCast I was talking with you about (Version 4.4). I just flashed to a new ROM on my phone and now I can not get it to work. It was working on this phone (Touch) for about 5 months with no charges and before that I had it on my A900m for almost 2 years. Now when I try to upload the program, after installing the new ROM, I get a JAVA error.

Here is another possible program that your friend might like. I have not tried it yet and if you work a crack for it I would love to give it a try. The programs name is WingX and the website is:

The website says "Real-Time Weather Images
WingX will download and display a multitude of weather images such as the Latest Surface Analysis, Flight Conditions, RADAR Tops, RADAR Summary, Regional RADAR, AIRMETs and SIGMETs, Satellite, Current Icing Potential and many more."

If you can crack this I will give it a try and let you know how it works before you give it to your buddy. Pilot My-Cast is an AWESOME program and it sucks that I can not get it to load since the install of this new ROM.

i looked into this and the registration is server side so there is no way to get a keygen or a serial unless someone purchased it and shared it with the public so thats prolly not going to happen.

Hey DAsh got a question for you about the Pilot My-Cast program. Would you have an idea why it will not upload after the flash to the other ROM (I did flash back to the stock rom - sprint 6.1 and still get the error). The error is:

Download failed. Issue has been reported Please try again later <905 Invalid Descriptor>.

I had it working before the flash now this error. I am using http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/ to upload it to my phone as this was the same site I used before and also the same one I used for my A900m and it worked. This is the only way I know to upload a JAR/JAD file.

Sorry if this is such a NOOB question, but it bugs me that I can't get this program working and I can kick myself for messing it up when I flashed the ROM.

No, I don't have or know what a JAVA Emulator is. I thought the Java program that comes with the phone would work fine. Funny thing is I never had it before (JAVA Emulator). When I first got the phone the first thing I did was put that program on it. It installed and worked nicely for about 2 months or so then when I did the flash it no longer works (I shouldn't say it doesn't work because I can't get it to upload). What is even funnier about your buddy is that I live in Michigan also. Not in GR, I am down in Ann Arbor. I used to be up there all the time but my buddy moved. Still have a friend that owns a Coney Island up there but I don't get up that way much.

well the reason for that is that the stock rom had the java emulator for it built in and the custom roms have it taken out since many dont use it.... so if you search google or even here at Wckediden for java emulator ppc you will find what you are looking for and be all set and ready to go.

I did mention in my other post that I went back to the original stock sprint ROM (6.1) and I still get this error. The stock ROM shows a JAVA program. I have games on it that work so I have no idea what the prob is. I am going to see if there is another way to get JAVA apps on my phone instead of using a website to send them to it. prolly because its 6.1 and as discussed before the stock sprint 6.1 rom causes many errors not to work on it.... but if you go custom those apps work again even with 6.1....

i work corporate for sprint testing phones and telling sprint if they should add them to their lineup or not.... and getting into the custom rom game.... kind of weird since the communication for testing is all done through conference calling....
