why would you need contacts or voicemail at the bottom? to get to voicemail, all you gotta do is press and hold the number 1. no need for contacts either. this has smart dialing, which means, all you gotta do is input the first few numbers of the phone number u wanna call or first few letters of the person you wanna call. it's great. try t. as for the speaker, when u call someone you'll get hte options to turn speaker on.

in order to run the ruu and flash to this rom, you'd need to unlock your phone first. look in my sig for a how to flash guide.

definatly SDflashed the ***** n it worked..... dont really care that much but u got a reason y the pc would be saying image error? i did the RUU process incorrect prolly???

there's no need for such profanity here. i'm not quite sure why it says image error cuz i never got it. the process to flashing is to unlock phone and then run ruu. never had any problems with it

those are cool features but i have soooo many numbers i dont remember what each starts with and the ones i do, i have to scroll through so many on that little screen. Not complaining just trying to tweek for my needs. tks

if you're flashing from custom to custom, there's no need to unlock it again unless you relocked it.

When the Alltel version of Hybird take 5 comes out, how much memory will this ROM have available? I want to use Manila 2D, it uses a ton of memory just want to make sure Ill be able to add all of my apps and have the phone run smooth still. I hit the donate button, this is a great site I want to help make it beter keep up the great work Kaos!

tweety - my phone is already unlocked and currently running off kaos' old custom ROM.. i'm still stuck at 0% then losing connection.. any other ideas?

i'd also like to try putting the nbh file to the storage card but how do i format to fat 32? laptop doesn't have a sd car reader..

than you need to go and purchase a card reader which are usually just $20-30 bucks...but you can only use a non-SDHC(2GB micro sd or below) card for this to work...

tweety-i have a mogul..already unlocked, downloaded .nbh, moved the file to the ruu folder, ran the ruu.exe but loses connection in the middle of the update wizard..

am i doing something wrong here?

to me it sounds like your running sprint rom atm... shame on you. i am actually abotu to flash this one BUT i have his old romo n and i am actually running manila 2d and i am left with 18 mb while it is launched. one notable feature thats ncie about manila 2d is when you open like your browser which sucks up memory manila will close and free up the ram from it. but trust me maila 2d on this rom will be a breeze.

and tweety since he did call you a twat ide seriously put out teh banstick on teh spot.

i suggest you change the color of your font. i can't read it on the light skin. as soon as he releases an alltell version, i'm sure it'll be comparable to this. you'll have enough memory to run manilla2d smoothly. and like monkey says, the app is really good on closing it self

yeah, running with this rom and bunch of apps but not 2d, i get like 18-19

How do I edit my post I'll change the font color. Was on another screen in MS Office when I made that post.

you would have to rename the file to TITAIMG.nbh and than place the phone in manual bootloader.... you do this by pressing and holding the camera and power button while soft resetting.

if my phone is a mogul, i still have to rename it to TITAIMG.NBH?

following are the steps i took:

download kaos .nbh file for mogul
format 512mb sd card to fat32
copy .nbh file to 512 sd fat32
changed name to TITAIMG.NBH
hold power+camera+reset (screen turn RED, GREEN, BLUE)
connect the usb
run RUU utility
when the screen changes from different colors to gray with 0%, i still get error 262...

my connection keeps getting dropped when RUU tries to change the ROM.

any other suggestions?

i unlocked it again earlier.. i even downloaded the RUU folder again..

any firewall or anti virus settings needs to be changed? the thing is, it keeps losing connection when the phone goes to the color screen.. you guy don't lose connection at all when flashing rom?

nope, i don't get lost connection error at all. maybe turn off your firewall/antivirus and see if it works any better.

what radio you running? it's recommended to be using 3.42.30 or 3.42.50 cuz that's what the rom is based on
