I've had my HTC Touch for close to a month now and so far I'm not too happy with it. The screen feels slow to response, Sprint TV is choppy and sometimes barely watchable, the phone crashes a lot, typing is hard, and it freezes a lot using the internet. I'm not trying to rant, these are just my problems, but how much better is the Samsung Instinct than the HTC Touch? I know it doesn't have WM6 and it's been having a lot of dropped call issues. I'm almost locked into Sprint, so I want to make sure I get the right phone.

Re: HTC Touch VS Samsung Instinct
By far the Mogul is a better phone than the instint, I have a 6700 Apache and a 6800 Mogul and I won't trade them for nothing on the world, I tried a Touch today and it felt so fragil.

very true, one of the major things got me about the instinct, is the fsct that it has no document support. ..Cant save, edit or attach any kind of files. Also i dont like the lack of options, for the most part yoir stuck with whatever half-assed programs sprint deem sutible for you, as opposed to making more user convenient.
But other than that its a cool lil media phone... A fun toy, but of you have any urged to do anything productive, youll be at a disadvantage. Id suggest gettin a new vogue or a mogul, i hear sprint is doing a lot of swap w/ these too models. |

ya if you are having problems with the touch you will hate the instinct... the difference in pixelation and video speed and quality is minimal. however if you are running a stock rom you are getting a very basic experience in that phone compared to what it is capable of. you should definately look into modding it. there is tons of stuff here for that phone. just use the search menu. unless you got it less than 30 days ago... then i would say go get you a htc touch diamond from the closest corporate store! now!

keep the touch...i should know i just got rid of my instinct last month and bought a touch...the instinct is complete trash...the internet sucks you cant go on full myspace, ebay, youtube(only youtube mobile)and many more..tv is worst on the instinct where i live....keep the touch and download skyfire for a better browser , download a touchflo3d,and theres a download to make the touch screen more responsive and last but not least download the full screen keyboard. if you want i can link you to all the downloads:oh-yes:....but if i were you WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT GET THE INSHIT(instinct)

I can tell you first hand the Instinct sux...like all the previous post have said, the browser sux, TV viewing sux, touchpad key board sux (always pushing the wrong button). Upgraded to the Mogul...options are almost endless!!
