[HELP] WM61 for alltel

I don't know if this was asked already but, I have an Alltel PPC6800. Which, as you all know, comes with Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional. I've been doing research into 6.1 and have decided that I want it. But I can't really find the update anywhere. HTC's website has the update for the Sprint Mogul (6800) but the Alltel 6800 has nothing on it. Does anyone know if it's possible to just download Sprint's update? Will that work? Or is there anywhere I can get WM6.1?

there isnt a 6.1 update... they had one and took it down due to the rom being buggy.... you can go custom roms and get 6.1 which is what i would recommend doing anyways....... i never have ran a stock rom on any of my phones even my diamond was flashed to a custom rom before i used it :>

bro come on for real look at the side menu it even says roms supported right there..... and in my signature i have a how to flash tutorial.

Ok... I did that. And even did a search for "wm6.1, alltel, rom". Didn't come up with anything. Paged through the roms and nothing said anything like that. Am I just a blind idiot? (Granted I don't know what a lot of those roms that just had numbers listed are)

I saw a lot for the HTC Touch. And other phones. But nothing said PPC6800.

And I don't see a signature in your posts. (not sure why on that one)

go to your settings from the control panel and alloew custom images to see them and use something like one of the kaos roms you can find from the side menu under rom releases

I don't get too much time to check out this site and I go to this area everytime I log in. Just figured it would be handy to be in the support for PPC-6800. My bad if not a good idea!
