I've been searching for an answer for this but have had no luck. How do I remove the stock battery meter from my Sprint Diamond? I'm running Juicy 2.4.1.
Second question, how do I get the Quickmenu battery meter all the way over on the right like it used to be on my touch? I've attached a pic of my current setup. |

Re: Remove Battery Meter
I also would like to remove the Standard Battery meter.
Instead I intend to use the "Vista Hide battery" meter. I have already tried the following. [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ShowTitleBarClock = 0 [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TBOpt = 0 This got rid of the battery icon but caused a portion of the volume or the Network signal strength be be overlapped in black, hiding the icon. It will look as though its going to work at times but will eventually hide the icon at some point. |

Didn't seem to work. It produced the same large black overlay as when I manually edited the affected registry keys. |

Ok ... correction... Dash's suggested Diamond Tweak 0.5 solution looks like it should work.
I just restored my phone using "Clear storage" and used Diamond Tweak 0.5 Set "Battery Icon" to "Hide" and "Date and Time" to "Show nothing" (as before), reset the phone and it looks ok. Perhaps my previous manual tweaks jacked it up for the real fix. Although when I tap the Quick menu icon the black overlay STILL does appears as long as the application drop down shows but then goes away when it closes. I can live with that as long as thats the only time it appears. Thanks again Dash I appreciate it. |
