PROBEX-EarthFlo-2D

Well if you have followed my progress on the forums then you know the story behind this theme... Its ready and I have included the bootscreen and I will post the S2U2 gfx folder here as well.

Credit to BEYOND INVISIBLE for his weather graphics they are all his only slightly modified by me.



FOR INSTALLING ON PRE#15 RELEASE of touchflow2d use the earthflow-by-PROBEX.zip unzip the file install the .cab upload the gfx to your S2U2 folder and activate the .tsk file on your today screen settings.

BUT THIS ONLY WILL WORK ON PRE #15 release's of touchflow
the newest installs of touchflow hold the graphics in 2 separate folders
this one is set to install everything into the windows directory.
If you love your bootscreen you have now back it up first as I included the bootscreen and the .tsk file inside the cab it will overwrite your current one.

Also once installed you can pull the welcomehead96.png from your windows folder and add your user avy to the user image on that screen to make it more personal if you wish.

This .zip file includes the S2U2 theme that you will have to install separately just replace your .gfx folder in your S2U2 install with this one.


YOU MUST HAVE THE THEME MANAGER FROM XDA FOR THESE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW THIS LINE

If you are running the newer versions- number #17 and up of touchflo with the theme manager or your theme is cooked into your rom use this file m2dct drag WITHOUT OPENING into your theme manager themes folder. And select this theme.


If the first download of the theme files fail to open to the cab and gfx folder... use wcked repack

Updated for TF2D Jade version update #20 via the theme manager.......................

why am I always the problem child?!?! i LOVE this theme and i want it. Im md2 #14 install so i tried to download this zip and it tells me its not a valid zip archive. Anyone else have a issue with it?

If your install of touchflow is version #14 then you don't need the m2d or are you still wanting to use the theme manager, I am not against the theme manager its coming along very nicely, BUT there is still many issues with it I suggest if you are on # 14 goto the theme manager and restore to your default theme... then install via the cab. I installed the theme manager and tested for a while it seems it will miss some of the changes in my themes. I'm not really surprised as unless I wrote it to change what I wanted how would you know what I changed??? lol Not just that... for me it was silly as I could not build the theme the way I do and test each step of the way with the theme manager installed it only does a full theme at a time you can't really add and subtract stuff on the fly like I do. Its a fantastic tool for the newbie's but your far from that be brave you can do without the toys.

I just downloaded the m2dct file it works fine for me did you unzip it first as instructions say??? as I could not upload just the m2d file uzip then load the tm2dct file to themes.

I have mixed results from people depending on roms some work some crash sms it seems the theme manager leaves something behind that may cause crashing as the cab is flawless. and the same files are in the theme manager one yet still some problems reported..

seeeee, its NOT me!! lol Im on m2d 14 and I refuse to upgrade bc this one has been stable for me and the only issue I have had is with those 2 cam icons files which I know the fix for so my philosophy is, if it aint broke, dont fix it. I dont even use the theme manager, I do everything manually (cab or overwriting). Theme manager had too many quirks for me, I like things to flow smoothly and when u have like 10 updates in a week....its not for me lol. Im trying to download the first zip file which your instructions said it was for pre #15 installs but it wont unzip. Just says its an invalid archive and retry. Ive tried "open" and "save", nothing would work. I dunno. I shall go cry in the corner now

It says 5.45MB but it does not push thru with the downlaod. I have tried so many times to download it but still it did not push thru....i give up...i really would want it but the download would not push thru....

Actually I cannot download it either it never fully finishes keeps coming up corrupt same with mykela25. Not sure why it seems the forum is just picking on a few of us??? Hard for you to do anything really wcked as if you cannot reproduce the problem you cannot fix the problem..lol maybe try replacing my .zip from your PC wcked and I will attempt to download and see if it works?

hey prob on your weather graphics i did alot of thread searching at xda and was finally able to get beyond invisible graphics for weather but my question to u is "are they supposed to be animated" if u say yes im going to scream cause i spent several hours doing the abv, but learning....lol

This includes beyond invisibles weather graphics slightly modded by me that reminds me forgot to credit him in the release here..opssy I'll fix that right away... The only thing animated in touchflow2d weather is the rain you get rain drops and windshield wiper. but thats it so far.

still no luck in downloading the reapacked one....the download stops/finishes at 2.0MB hence the corrupt file because the download is not complete......i don't know what's the problem....even if i have to rock my brains out (lol) i cannot seem to donwload the whole 5.46MB file, it stops at 2.0MB as if it's finished but it's not.......

what browser are you using? and have you trued a different one?

i'm using IE7...but i also used safari and firefox but still the same....cannot finish the download...it stops/finished at 2.0MB

You're so awesomely nice. Thats why I love you! And eventhough I have it now, I tried wcked reupped link just to see if it wud download and that doesnt work for me either. Stops mid download and say corrupt still. Its crazy. I also tried multiple browsers. So I guess it just doesnt like some of us. Oh well, I have it now, so Im happy lol. And its nice to know I wasnt losing my damn mind with not being able to download it. LOL.

I'm sooooo glad I found this theme! I'm a huge frog fan - even drive a green VW Beetle full of frog stuff. This is the absolute best.

Ok - I found the problem. It's not the SMS icons. It's the People icons!

I replaced all the graphics with the original M2D and then began to work my way through the Earthflo graphics - icon by icon. I was able to then isolate the hh_fw_tabicon_people.png & hh_fw_tabicon_people_mask.png as the problems. I don't know why, but they cause the SMS to freeze!

Kept those two as the original M2D, and my Earthflow is working fine.

I just noticed that I can see no current temperature on my weather tab - there's expected highs & lows, but no current temp that we usually see in large font.

Have I done something wrong, or is this the norm?

If it's the norm, is there anyway that I can get it added?
