hahahahah no not really unless you didnt use the usb 2.0 cord and used a sd card adapter and did it directly..... cuts the time by more than 60%

not installing it but controlling it haha! well first i know the mobile vista cab comes with a WMP thing but idk how to install that and its just wierd like the icons didnt work and stuff so i put my own but now when i click on the start at the bottom left the icons still show over the start list? anybody know whats wrong?

go to author mode and choose for the icons hide or set to background.

well wisbar builds the hell out of your registry holding the settings.... i would do a hard reset and try over again and see what that does for you.

:yahoo:nvm i found out i just had to go to settings/system/memory and search for wosbar then open file location an delete and bamm all back to normal

you have to take the theme both landscape and portrait into the theme folder under desktop.

Bro I did that. I saw 9 folders in oceania's destop/theme. I put the ladnscape in there and the protrait but I cnt pull it up on the theme manager. It was on my phone thru file explorer but nuthin shows wit the themes. I really need a detailed step by step on this.

I'm not sure if i can make it any clearer but I'll try since i've put this on and off my mogul about six times :-) Make sure you have wisbar advance 3 and wisbar advance desktop loaded on your device. then put the mobile vista folder somewhere that you remember(i put it on my memory card to save space) then go into wisbar advance settings and go to theme and choose wisbar advance themes (not desktop) and click on the bottom right menu. Choose install and go to where you put the mobile vista folder and open it and choose mobile vista wisbar...that should work for the wisbar advance...now for WAD...u need to connect to active sync and click explore then you want to click on the little phone icon that says windows based mobile device. Once that opens then you should see the themes folder. Open the themes folder and then open the desktop folder. Then drag the Mobile Vista WAD folders for portrait and landscape into it. After that you just go into wisbar advance settings on your device, make sure desktop is checked under the plugins option and then go into the theme part of wisbar advance settings and click on desktop. You should have a choice of vga portrait, vga landscape, qvga portrait, qvga landscape and under those you should now see your mobile vista and mobile vista landscape. Choose mobile vista for portrait and mobile vista landscape for landscape. Hit apply and you should be good to go...hope this helps, I don't think it could be any clearer with this and the video...hit dat rep

So just list all the stuff that needs to be a themes folder. Because its in there but not showing up on my phone thru theme. Its shows up on my file explore.

you have to have swcked weather and then the theme will automatically put swcked weather on the weather page

I followed it step by step

This is what I did please help me, I really want this program lol.

I downloaded the MobileVistaWAD from this site and extracted it using WinRAR

Then I openened up my Mobile Device on my computer, I have Wisbar Advance 3 cracked and Wisbar Advance Desktop trial version. When I go to HTC Mobile Device it didnt have a theme option I had to go to Program/files/Wisbaradvancedesktop/themes under there it had Default Portrait and Default landscape. Then, I dragged and dropped the Vista theme in that menu. Then synced my computer. When I go to Wisbar Advance options it dosnt show Desktop under themes it shows Wisbar Themes, Sounds, Animation..thats it. I tried everything

Also, It wont let me download programs on your site. I have to be a private email. I sent an email asking for private membership and have not gotten a response yet.

Should I just delete Wisbar Advance Desktop, get a cracked version and start all over?

Any help would be greatly appeciated

I have Wisbar Advance 3 and the Wisbar Advance Desktop that I got from this site. Right now, I had to reformatt my computer so I won't be able to give it a try again. When I do I will probabaly post that it works. Thank you so much for creating this application, it looks amazing.

On another note, I am at the end of the road trying to setup Vista Mobile on my Sprint Mogul. I've tried and done everything as suggested in this thread. But no luck whatsoever. I've tried everything I could and have seen alot of posts in here with the same problem I've had so I decided to put together a video for my scenario.

Brief summary:

Downloaded all the files from Wckediden just this morning (Been trying this since Friday morning). Installed both Wisbar Apps to the device memory (not storage card, although I tried that too). After installing, no folder in the device's root folder. Tried rebooting, still no folder. I even tried creating the specified folders, but still no luck.

Files downloaded and installed (from Wckediden just this morning):

WisBar Advance Desktop v2.0.0.1
WisBar Advance 3 v3.3

Yes it is. It is the original rom that came with the phone. Just bought the phone on Thursday night.

Yeah. It is running wm 6.1. What's the reason it wouldn't work with a stock rom? Can you suggest a rom that would keep my phone as clean as possible. I don't like slowing it down with too much stuff I wouldn't use...

Also, if I went to a new rom but ever need to go back to original, i should be able to download the original rom from htc.com and put it back to how it was right?

yea for sure you will be able to go back... and there is a easy step by step tutorial in my signature below. and the stock rom wont run this for shit and blocks certain things from being installed..... def go custom... i recommend going with the kaos take 5
