- I kind of wondered how that was going to work if Sprint announced (Way Back) as being the "First" to release the HTC Touch Diamond and HTC Touch Pro and then let T-Mobile beat em on the Pro. I would even concider going with T-Mobile if they released it before Sprint.

Well I just got done Chatting with "Patrice K" On the online sales webchat thing and she said "NOV. 2nd" Is the new expected release date....But also said its subjected to change...Could be LATER/ or EARLIER I was like WTF SPRINT You can suck my balls!!!!!!! ****in hate this messed up my sleep in time!

looks like november 2nd is the date in my computers at work..... i knew this was going to happen especially since the diamond was right on time.... sprint cant be on time twice in a row.

i know thats right they added notes to my account that when it comes out that i can return the diamond for the pro with no problems. But we will see how that works out i have had the diamond since it was released

the real reason it got delayed was to fix some of the problems that were present with the gsm troubles including camer lag troubles, overheating, etc.

no actually it is going on at my location of the sprint corporate office also..... there is quite a few different stores since there is over 1 million phones that have to be done :<

ok so i talked to a sales rep yesterday for about an hour discussing the problem with my wifes rumor and replacing it with the rant and i asked her about the long enough waited pro and she said it was going to be the 27th or 28th but i guess we will see?

naw basically what is done is that we flash one than place back in the box nicely with new packaging and than packaged back in the box and called good.......... just caught a few hours of sleeps and actually at the airport right now to fly over to grand rapids again and do my tv interview with the news this afternoon :> but anyways ended yesterday with a total of 1,271 phones flashed..... even got sick of go through usb cables that i taught the other 20 guys and gals how to flash from a card lmao.

hahhahaha just to fix errors and it sucks.... im used to being the one doing nothing at work and testing the devices not flashing them lmao..

have u tested one after the flash... what are your thoughs on it now ... your initial review was pretty good to start... hopefully we wont need allot of tweaks right out of the box on it

i know it vibrates when u connect a call... thats an option but does it when u hangup a call for notifcation ... or is there a sound... i like to make sure i hung up before i start talking about them .... haha

it makes a chime just like the diamond does. and as well as stability seems like they have had a lot of progress in the right direction compared to the way that the diamond was released on the market.... sprint still has a cow of a rom on the phone though :<

I had an encounter with a Touch Pro today. It was the demo non working model at a local best buy store.A guy in the blue shirt pulled it out of a basket he had with a lot of demos that were up coming in. Pretty nice for sure. It had been well finger printed I am sure I got sloppy seconds on it.

from what the threads are saying .. the only physical store that should have the phone by the 2nd is best buy .. telesales and retentions and evp should be able to take orders on nov 1st , 2nd ... and sprint stores .. radio shack etc to follow after ....

Just read over on phonescoop that sprint has announced the release of the TP for Sunday and availe in sprint stores by Nov 2nd. Thats just crazy! Do I want to wait a week? Not really but will BB be more expensive or will they offer it for a decent price? Plus how is BB to work with as far as unit problems Vrs. Sprint stores or telesales? I guess what I am asking is who is goint to be the better place to purchase the TP from? :mebiro_01:
