[FREEWARE] Manila 2D Skin for SPB Mobile Shell 212

Designed by greatbal.
This is based on the HTC Diamond theme v2.1. For QVGA Devices ONLY. Optimized for portrait mode but supports landscape mode also.

I created this theme for Mobile Shell version 2.1.2 but it should work also with version 2.1.


Available in three colors (included in the zip file attached):



Features:
1) Now Screen, Calendar page, Launcher Page, MRU Page, 3 Contacts pages. (Gesture left or right to get to the MRU and other Contacts pages.)
2) Selecting any of the Color Themes will result in a change in the Today wallpaper similar to the theme's background image.
3)Added additional Main Menu icons
4)Available in 3 colors.

How to install:

1) Download zip file attached.
2) Extract on your hard drive.
3) Copy all extracted .dat files to your device's \Program Files\Swcked Mobile Shell directory.
4) Soft reset device.
5) For Color scheme option, just copy the dat files from the appropriate folder inside the Color Scheme folder of the extracted zip file to your device's Mobile Shell folder, overwriting the original (make sure you did steps 1 to 3 first).

NOTES: Suggested Settings for this theme to work properly:

1) Go to Swcked Menu > Settings > Swcked Mobile Shell > [Now Screen Tab] > Layout = "Professional" > Click "Configure" button > Tick (check) "Show all day events" and "Show free appointments" Checkboxes AND Set "Alarm" to "Show always" and "Calendar" to"Auto"

2) To show the appointments/Calendar items on the Classic Now Screen Analog: Go to Swcked Menu > Settings > Swcked Mobile Shell > [Now Screen Tab] > Layout = "Classic" > Click "Configure" button > Tick (check) "Show curent and upcoming appointments.

Hi, Any one knows where to find the matching Manila 2D today's theme? When select colour theme at MS2.12, it changes the today's wallpaper but the title bar etc does not change. Need to find a Manila 2D today's theme that changes everything to match this beautiful MS theme.

I want change my Manila2D Theme in this... but i have 2 quest:

1. I have Manila2D in italian, if i use this, change language?
2. it possible change only the clock?

I want change the them but i don't want lose my italian manila 2d... in realy i want only the digital clock, but i don't know...

help me!

i dunno man. but make sure if you wanna use this that you have swcked mobile shell cuz you need it. i know for m2d you can change the clock but i dunnoa bout swcked mobile shell. hope someone can help you out!:cheer2:

hello all, there's someone at xda that made sport themes for the actual M2D program. Does anyone know how to change the background of this skin so that mobile shell could maybe have this look? I was going to post a link but I don't have 5 posts yet :(

I did and didn't get I response, I saw more sports oriented themes here so thought I might have better luck

ok so i'm having some minor issues with this theme. for some reason the tabs at the bottom on the home screen (weather, mail, text, missed calls) don't work???? everything else is working fine, but for some reason these buttons don't respond at all? please help, I really like this theme and would like to keep it!!!

ok, edit this..............the bottom NOW screen buttons ONLY work when I set the settings to "analog" clock????? on the "classic" setting?

is this right, like the ONLY way this theme works? I mean I guess I can live with the analog clock but I kinda like the digital better?

Sorry but i copied the folder to the above through resco explorer and i get nothing do i actually need to take them out of the folder or is in the folder fine? its not working for me now. THanks in advance

I will answer m y own question with another question. I copied the files and it works but the tabs on the button are off in other words I have to press to the right of what ever tab i want to use to get the tab to the left of the one I select any ideas?

Try another soft reset.

I did that and the
"Home screen " worked perfect but when in the "main" screen it altered my touch to the left ? and reset did nothing

have you recalibrated again? if so i would try a hard reset and see what that does.

great looking skin. only thing wrong on my htc touch is you cannot finger swipe to get to different tabs. you must press to get. looks better than htc manila 2d for htc devices but lacks the swiping side to side.

I dont think that the manila 2d or this has swiping

You can do the figure swip when you are in programs and have pages or setting but it wont swip on the home page....

While I have been using this theme for a while and I really like it, one minor inconvenience that I have found: there is no icon for task reminders! If I don't catch the reminder pop-up when it happens, it will disappear. I have to leave Mobile Shell before I can see this icon. The other icon for mail, sms, or even missed call do show while in MS. This is not a deal breaker but it is an annoyance as I do use my tasks w/reminders quite a bit.
