Opera Help
So I tried installing a build of opera that was different from the one on the phone and it kept coming up unsuccessful. Not only did the installation not work, now my old opera won't launch either. Anyway that I can restore the old one or can someone help on how to correctly install a build different than the one built into the rom? I'm using JD 5.1 rom in case that matters. Also, does anyone know if flash content works with any build of opera and flashlite 3.1 or if it has to be a specific build? Thanks!
p.s. - I tried searching and didn't see any threads with an issue like this but sorry if I missed it =P

where did u install to? sometimes it matters if u install to device or storage memory. and also make sure u get correctone for ur phone. qvga wont work on vga and vice versa. hope that helps. flash works fine on my opera build 2392 i think?

I tried installing to both storage card and device and I installed the vga build of opera 9.5 2392. I made a little progress by going into the windows folder and deleting the opera folder in there and the setup file and then I was able to succesfully install to device or storage card but for some reason opera crashes alot now so I'm thinking im just going to reflash to another rom since I was planning on it anyways haha.

since your using the touch your gunna need the qvga version and also its never a good idea to install two different versions of the same app on the phone. always make sure to uninstall the old one and then install the new version

Hmm strange I swear I switched it haha. I am using the pro and actually it would ask to uninstall when I would try installing my version but it would never uninstall successfully

Yup I was actually trying to install an older version 2392 build as opposed to the 2602 or whatever comes stock on JD's build. Oh well I think im going to try Y4J's rom and reflash anyways and then maybe just try upgrading to build 2745 which is the newest. Maybe it was screwing up cause I was trying to revert back to an older build. Who knows =P

Couldn't get the flash to work properly even after installing Flashlite 3.1 and alot people said that 2392 worked so I figured i'd give it a shot haha

think he's just saying that he wants to get flash to be working on opera and he's trying all different builds in an attempt to get it to work lmao but damn..sorry it don't work for u lol
