kaos roms are for cdma so i don't think you can use it. sorry

thats correct and the phone you have is called the elfin. so you would need to uset he elfin unlocker and rom.

I just checked your profile and you have the Touch on Sprint. You should be able to upgrade your radio with the Sprint update from HTC prior to flashing this ROM.

just flash the rom and radio in the first 2 posts and follow the steps on flashing in my signature you will be straight :>

no it will not because rogers is a GSM provider this ROM is for CDMA touches, they are totally different devices, we dont have any GSM ROMs here

NEED HELP... I think I have read every page in the thread.. I read/followed instructions 3 times and flashed this and all went well. NOW: I am stuck on the "sunrise screen" .. Bootloader screen reads: VOGU100 SPL-0.36.000 CPLD-3 : THe sunrise screen reads M03 / B01 / P ACAAAAM-4070 / R 1.60.30 / D 3.09.666.1 :(think this is right radio)
I have tried all of the options ie SD flash. Nothing happens at the bootloader screen. Even tried the stock ROM?? What should I do next. I can not get it back in sync?? Thanks!!

I did run the unlocker on the original flash. The bootloader referenced the unlocker initially. (not now) Took the battery out after flash for 1 minute and did the hard reset a couple of times. Asked if it was ok to delete info.. proceeded... press send to complete... Boots up and stays on the "sunrise screen" THANKS!!

I can get to the bootloader screen from the sunrise screen w/ power+camera+reset... I followed a link from the noob guide to download the unlocker and it gave me like 4 choices in another forum (blue) Anyway, I may have picked the wrong unlocker.. I used the 4.1 version... It said it was the most current?? Any ideas how to fix?

How can I do any updates without being able to activesync... I have tried putting the .NBH file on SD and renaming to VOGUIMG.NBH and starting the bootloader... That did'nt work.. I am assuming b/c it was not unlocked? So not sure how to do anything w/o activesync...

Did you make sure your SD card is 2GB or under AND that it's formatted FAT32 when trying the SD method?

Yessir.. 1g and formatted correctly to FAT32. I can see the loading screen flash up briefly... Is it still unlocked?

go to your control panel and edit options.... you will find a field about signatures change it from what you have and you will see mine below my replies.

Thanks. I have been following these instructions (from your sig) from the beginning. I have followed all the steps and have attempted to load the ROM from the SD... but with out the device being unlocked, I guess it will not matter... I have tried to run the unlocker from the SD as well to no avail? I renamed the .nbh file that was in the unlocker folder and put it on the SD card. Is there something I am missing? Does the entire unlocker folder need to be on the SD?

Don't run the unlocker fron the sd card hook it up to the pc and then run the unlocker

I hooked it up and put the device in bootloader.. The computer recognizes the USB device... But, unlocker states "no device connected"... If I try from the "sunrise" screen.. The computer doesnt recognize the USB connection.

If I may ask where is your sync ? Tell you what do a hard reset get your phone back normal so the sync works then run the unlocker

The device only boots to the "sunrise" screen and will not go any further... Activesync will not recognize the device at the sunrise screen or in bootloader mode. Is this what you were asking?

ok go to the htc website and look for your phone and carrier and try and do the rom download from there if that don't work you may have bricked your phone because you tried to run a cooked rom without it being unlocked I may be wrong and if so please staff or members correct me. But I would try the htc website and see if you can get it back to stock

That would suck... Thanks for the info. I know it was unlocked when I did the original flash, b/c it had coke on the bootloader screen... but it was the wrong unlocker.. I have not been able to find anything on the htc website for verizon. I have the stock rom from another site. Anyway to try to flash it??
