no what he told you was right and make sure you have unlocked your phone already....... if you havent look in my signature below to get it unlocked.

Tried extracting the .nbh in the unlocker and renaming it....(VOUGIMG.nbh) to a FAT32 512SD. From bootloader I see a white screen flash up and reads "loading.. no image file" Then goes away quickly. I have no other way to unlock...

I am new to this stuff, but I figured I would give it a try anyway. Here is what I did. I got these instructions from D/\SH's Flashing Roms intructions for a HTC Touch (CDMA). My touch is Sprint, that's CDMA right?

1. backup all contacts/data/etc..
DID IT
2. ensure your device is connected to your pc via activesync.
DID IT
3. run imcokeman 's vogue unlocker and follow ALL instructions in the command prompt exactly .
DID IT
4. once you have booted back up into wm and are connected to activesync again (dont worry about setting up your device again because you're just going to flash it again and erase all that in a second anyway) extract the ruu.zip to somewhere convenient.
HERE IS WHERE I AM STUCK. Now when I plug my phone via USB to my computer, it will not recognize/sync with it. I have no idea why, it let me do it before I started, b/c I backed up the music on my storage card, so I know I was connected, now I get nothing. It will not recognize at all.
I can't move any further b/c of this, and I am a little worried, b/c if I ever want to back anything up again or add new programs or even just sync my contacts, I don't see how I can do it without being able to connect to my PC.
I knew I should have just sent it to D/\SH to handle before I got my stupid hands on it. I hope i'm not f-ed up for good here.

What should I do? The phone works fine otherwise the way it is.

Damn, right after I posted I found some suggestions on 'trouble connecting to Activsync' in the Mogul section of the instructions and it worked.
I think I can proceed with the Rom change.

I know I flashed to Koas's Rom, and I am stuck at the HTC mobility screen.
I know it is stuck there because I have the wrong radio. Mine is version 2.36 or something.
I know that if I download the latest radio .nbh and rename it VOGUIMG.nbh on a <2gb FAT32 SD card and hard reset it will square me away.
I also know there have been 50 posts that are just like this, but I swear, there is nowhere in this thread that I can get that radio. There have been a bunch of posts saying you can get it from the first or second post in this thread, but it's not there.
I know it's just me, but I can't find it. I hate being that guy asking for something that I am sure is already out there for me to find, but I have been looking for hours, and truthfully, I don't know exactly what file I am looking for.
Is it just a file that ends in .nbh that is the updated radio. Please help me as I am to stupid to help myself.

The new stock roms for at least Alltel and Sprint (I haven't looked at the others) available from HTC's website include the radio you need. If you flash to the stock one first and then to this one you should be good to go.

Thanks. I've been using a ppc for a number of years, but I'm relatively new to Alltel and HTC. I just switched in June, but trying to absorb everything I can. ;)

OMG!!!!! This bs and the anticipation of getting over this bs is driving me freaking CRAZY!!! Of the over 30 times i've flashed my devices, not once have i ever had a single issue. And this time even though i have been trying for about four days with no success, it's not because i don't know what i'm doing. it's because of the evil VISTA!!!! Driving me insane here.

thanks. every site out there claims to know which drivers are best to solve the vista active sync crap. and i feel like i've been downloading and restarting for years now. killing me. I'm fighting one windows app with another one!!!!! great job microsoft. and you cant figure out why no one will take vista seriously and give it a chance even though it does have its plus sides here and there.

ive never had a issue bro....never did anything but install windows mobile device center.and allow drivers to install that it finds when connected.

have you tried flashing via usb card?, just load RUU_signed.nbh to your card then reset

look above at mobile resource than go to the "freeware" section and y6ou will find mad plugins.... theres thousands and thousands of them so it would be your choice.

I installed this ROM on my Sprint Mogul Phone but I like Sprints New! animated screen that pops up during boot up of the phone. And in looking in the windows folder of the Touch Hybrid TAKE 1 WM6.1 REV A GPS ROM I noticed the gif located in there that I wanted to install (SPCS_Startup) is the name of the file and I was wondering if it was possible for me to remove the second boot screen of this ROM I guess its called the loading gif.... changing it to this Sprint animated gif image?????? And probably how I would achieve this? :thanx:

How did you install this on the mogul 6800 ?? This rom is for the Touch aka vouge 6900.

what leaked version?? them are all old and outdated.... and to rename it has to be a nbh file and not an exe file...... and you named it qring its VOGUIMG.nbh

ok i'm about to flash to this rom tonight and been reading through the post so i dont have to crap this thread with questions over and over, i renamed the nbh file and put it in the ruu folder on my desktop, from there i load the unlocker go into the ruu folder and run the exe. follow steps and done? i got the how to guide and seems simple enough but with everyone running into problems some of your guy's solution don't match with the guide.

no you only rename if flashing from the card... i would recommend reading through the tutorial in my signature again.

ok so this rom is the sh*t but only one thing that is bothering me is that my battery meter is changing from 98 to 70 back up to 90's then to 80's should i flash again to see if that solves it?

hey i would love to run this rom except i have no idea what i am doing with roms and i dont want to mess up my fone...i have just got the fone not even 2 days ago now and i have finally found (with help from many of you) out how to get the alien x theme running...well now before i get to crazy with it i would like to get his rom working...can anyone help me out so i dont **** up this nice fone?

if your trying to flash a new rom to ur device just look under Dash's signature and you'll find a tutorial on how to do so... :laughing7:

lol. yah go scroll up above Taylor and look underneath Dash comment and it will say something like how to flash roms click here and it's yellow i believe... it's right above the picture of those phones.. :Laie_31:
It says Dash sig in blue and underneath that is all the information you need homie...
