HTC shows Alltel Touch Pro on site

As I am waiting patiently to be the next proud owner of this awesome phone, Alltel has been receiving accessories in their stores for the touch pro. Finally HTC is showing it on their site. http://www.htc.com/us/product.aspx?id=74300

I've known for about a month that they were getting it. Waiting to hear when is the difficult part. My poor 6800 has been through many ROMs trying to get it working the way I want it. Thanks to the impressive creations on this site, it has been tolerable. I have wanted a VGA device for about 4 years now and the icing on the cake is all the other features the pro has......like the RAM

i hear ya dude..... i would like a pro.. but im more of a "classic pda" style person... i absolutely love the PPC-6800's pda style... i dont know y i just do... lol..... but ya.. i would like a vga screen =( oh... and how is this a HTC Touch Pro Question??? lol u should have posted this in the freetalk or discussion area :fiona_01:

i will move the thread..... and also are you kidding me? in the cdma world it works like this htc wise. sprint gets the device first. alltel follows next within 2 months, than comes verizon about 2 years later. :llama:

My bad about the wrong area. I try to check out this site as much as possible so that I know allt he area's, but I got three kids and work at 4am.....and my 360....I will try and get it right next time!

I went into the Alltel store today and caught one of the employees playing with what apeared to be a thick iPhone. It turned out to be the Touch Pro. He was very protective of it and let me see it. It was chrome plated. I have not seen one that was chrome. Aren't most of them just flat black?
