okay guys i finally got it to work!!!!! every thing works fine, only thing is that when i try to use smms to send pictures it ask me for a password, what should i put there? do i have to call sprint for the password? thanks to kaos, dash and tweetybear.

bro, he id it many times, this is a SPRINT based rom, so of course is going to sa SPRINT. he also said he will post different carriers, so if you want the ALLTEL rom just wait until he brings that one out. or use "oppmon" the application foung under staff picks and you can name it whatever you want. hope this helps!

Sorry to hear that Kaos. I've really enjoyed using your release on my Mogul. I am not a Sprint user, and I can reconfigure the settings to work fine for my carrier.

Would agree that there are many noobs out there that keep asking the same things, complaints, and typical noobs commentary. But I always figure that's just to be expected. Honestly I think you will see posts on the fourm mainly from noobs instead of avid users since they don't really need help. I do agree however that the avid users could take more time to state some more appreciation.

Underlying features and tweaks are awesome. I also really enjoy the theme and arrangement. The darker look is friendlier to my eyes as compared to no2chems default themes. (no2chem you make a great release too). The "wisbar" style start menus are awesome too. Love it all.

Wassup man I was just wondering did you get your phone straightened out yet? Because I was having the same issue I have a Sprint mogul phone and when I was trying to update to this NEW! Rom I ran into the same issue. I am very new at all of this stuff and learning it all is like mad crazy I am so afraid to post in fear that I may be in the wrong area I have seen too many people fukkin up with that....lol Anyway yo back on the subject after being stuck on that screen so long I was like URGHHHH I am just gonna turn this bich off what can it hurt I am already stuck and if I haft to i will just take this ***** back to sprint.... so I did when it started back up it started on the main screen with that sun behind the earth screen and would not move off of that screen. it would just stay on that screen everytime I turned on the phone. So after doing some research on this forum I found out how to put the phone back into boot mode and what you do is HOLD THE POWER BUTTON AND THE CAMERA BUTTON DOWN AT THE SAME TIME AND IT PUT ME BACK INTO BOOT MODE. then I remembered seeing a ROM UPDATE for the mogul phone on sprints website and it redirected me to the maker of the phones web site HTC, and on that site was the update and all you gotta do is download the link to your computer make sure your phone is connected to the computer and at the bottom of the screen on your phone make sure it says USB. If so just double click on the download that says RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.56.651.0_RS_TITAN_3.42.02_S PCS2.04_PPST_0718_Ship. and follow what it tells you to do and you will be set with SPRINTS ROM. But I wanted this one so bad I tried it again after putting that one on my phone and trying this one again I GOT IT! On HTC website it will tell you exactly how to install the rom so no need to feel scared it was SIMPLE. But anyways I tried to post the link to it but it is down or something but here is the page you can try it and see if it is up (http://www.htc.com/us/search.aspx?se...xt=mogul%20rom) or just navigate around on HTC's site and find it GOOD LUCK if you have not already gone back to sprint. getting i could form you post jetta you didn't properly do something. it seems like you mixed and matched things,
btw with it freezing on the splash screen thats an issue with your radio. which is basically where after you flash the rom aka the .ruu then you run the radio and it will boot properly.

my frends please help ...I have down loaded this kaos rrom on my phone and I love it.......but today my phone was not working and I called sprint and they said my phone was dissconected and they thought I changed my phone I said no...now here's the problem she said to cut my phone back on she needs my dec esn number on the back off the phone then she says go to the dial pad and push ##698112# ....BUT IT WON'T DO ANYTHING ...its supposed to jump to another screen so I can set up my device but it won't....is it the rom?...what do I do...I need my phone back on....dash...kaos..tweety..fatal..bigjew....or anybody in our smart phone family please help me

try ##778# and see what that does.... and also be sure to give her the number from behind the battery and not on the box since sometimes even though they should be the same they arent....

dash I just hit ##778# and it went to another screen that says enter unlock code but the other number does not work..when I call sprint do I just put the nuber you gave me and set my phone up from there ..and I did give her the numbber from behind the battery...

get your own kaos released an app that will do it..... do a search for mdn/msl and you will find the app

with this rom I noticed that the option to roam is gone....how do I go into roaming only...like on other roms......and I noticed that you can't flash a rom then get the phone activated because the ##******# number they telll you to put in doesent work so I will flash back to stock get it activated then flash..but if any one knows how to roam with this rom please help

you sure you went to the right options? settings/pesonal/phone/services/roaming

sounds like you phone lost its msl, mdn and msid. smartest thing for you to do is to just take it back in have them reset it , they will put sprint rom back on, then take and use this before you re flash https://www.wckediden.com/showthread.php?t=151149

Will this work for my US Cellular ppc6800? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I don't want to ruin my phone. Us cellular has disabled the gps and I can't even send a picture message. I know these phones are capable of doing this so it frustrates me. It's the best phone they have but I can't even send a pic message? WTF!

atm this rom will only work with sprint service moguls.


and bigmix the chance of you losing your mdn msl and what not are pretty slim ive had 8 flashes and have yet to lose it yet. just give it a go if worse comes to worse make another trip to sprint :P

I installed this ROM on my Sprint Mogul Phone but I like Sprints New! animated screen that pops up during boot up of the phone. And in looking in the windows folder of the Touch Hybrid TAKE 1 WM6.1 REV A GPS ROM I noticed the gif located in there that I wanted to install (SPCS_Startup) is the name of the file and I was wondering if it was possible for me to remove the second boot screen of this ROM I guess its called the loading gif.... changing it to this Sprint animated gif image?????? And probably how I would achieve this?

yes you will need to overwrite that file but you will have to do it with something like resco file explorer 7.05 or total commander otherwise it wont stick or just not allow you too perform the action.

Yeah i don't want you to think I am that dumb I have spent countless hrs trying to figure out how to do it and I know I need to do it with resco file explorer or something I didn't wanna get scolded on that part because it has been posted before I got that much.....lol...... but

we have a huge thread that you would find if you do a search using the search feature for boot screen tutorial..... but anyways i think that the one you are talking about is called welcomehead96 and make sure that you save it as a .png file before trying to overwrite.

I checked the welcomehead96 file and that is not it.... Its the screen before that. But I guess I will just try and search for it or something but thanks for the assistance.

Not sure what you mean? It's one of three major carriers in my area. It's either them or Alltel or Sprint. I used to have alltell but bought out of my contract due to a divorce and was not happy with the. Sprint sucks in the area unless your right next to an interstate. So that leaves me with US Cellular! They have a website if that would help you at all. I live in Wisconsin so yeah it's probably not worldwide or anything. I know this is off topic but is their any other way I can enable my phone to send picture messages without having to e-mail them? I guess I can do w/o the gps although that would be nice to. I'm open to suggestions! I'm all ears!

Hey so i'm having some problems syncing my email accounts after flashing the rom. I flashed it twice and i did the remove battery and hard reset. I installed the IOTA cab too. Is there anything that i can do to get this underway?

Sorry. no screen shots and no error codes. Just whenever i try and hit the send/recieve, it says connecting and never logs on to get the emails. not sure if im doing something wrong but i erased the account information and put it in twice so i'm not sure what else i'm doing wrong. Long story short, i'm just getting a connecting indication on the screen when i send/recieve but it never completes after waiting 30 min.

Check your password thats what was wrong with mine because every time i hit next it would change my password

Kaos or Dash.....please help....I'm currently on the phone with sprint and I had to re-program my phone. The unlock code didn't work......I found how to get to the EPST....where I can edit my MSL

i don't think you can edit your msl because it's unique to your phone.

you must noit have followed the steps correctly because all the problems you are having havent happened to anyone else....... i would try a hard reset and starting over......

I did tho.....the directions were pretty simple...dial ## then six numbers then # again.....and it didn't work....I don't want to hard reset again.....its such a pain re-installing all my apps

well the dialer prolly is compatible to dial the codes so you should have activated the phone first so you wouldnt have this trouble.... you will have to go back to stock and than get it activated and once you do that you can flash back to this rom and it will stay activated.....

It was activated first.....but they shut it off because they did an audit awhile ago and finally cut me off because im not eligible for that plan anymore.....but i just called and had them turn it right back on lmao

i never had any troubles and ran this for a long time........ you did take the battery out and hard reset after your flash correct??

yes sir. i did it twice once after each flash just to make sure i was going through all the steps. If flashing again doesn't work out for me, what other custom rom do you recommend?
