Default hard reset questions

ok first and formost i did search for this and i didnt find unless i was was using wrong search terms or it was labeled as something different.

ok i added stuff to my windows folder on my xv6900 and it asked if i wanted to over write i clicked yes it said something bout it being in the rom do i still want to over write i chose yes. ok here our my 2 quick questions.

1. will doing a hard reset replace the files i overwritten back to the orginals?

2. is using clear storage located in settings the same exact thing as a hard reset?

thanxs for the information. and thank you to who ever anwsers my questions.

answer to both of your questions is yes lol a hard reset and clear storage is the same thing. and doing a hard reset will make your device as it originally was before you did any modifications

Wow...really, cuz I was under the same impression that clear storage would just erase your storage memory and leave but would have any effect to system changes? So does that mean when i want to restore my device to manufactured setting I can just do clear storage instead of hard resets... Also, if you do clear storage does it wipe your sd card memory also, or do i have to remove it or something?
