Cause Code 3 - error sending text messages

can anyone tell me what might be causing this error message to occur? It started about 5pm eastern time and occurs with both Vito SMS Chat and Windows system text messaging.

Did a soft reset, no avail. Did a back up and hard reset and still getting the message.
any clues?
(my contacts at the local store had no ideas)

i heard this before..probably your text message inbox is full try and delete all messages and reboot.

thanks - will try that, but don't think that is it..lol - this is a fresh start on the phone.

could be on carrier side....... try placing the phone in airplane mode and than send out a text and when i t asks you if you want to turn the radio on so the text can be sent select yes and see what that does for you. ......

My daughter had the same problem a couple of hours ago (pacific time) texting to other network that Sprint, did a soft reset and is orking again :kez_06:

thats was my next option...network issue with your mobile carrier.

nope, no such luck.
am going to keep troubleshooting. - thought it could be the 1200$ they are charging me but they have assured me my phone is still on! Will see what happens tomorrow in case it is a network issue.

gotta call from my buddy and he says they ARE having a national network issue - no time frame as to when it will be repaired at the moment. ;)

working now - was a sprint network issue.

Glad it is working now. I called in and were having minor issues as well. Will Mark it solved. and Close it. Wont move to recycle.
