How add psshutxp to ur power button

You need to do two things..
:jaw::jaw:
1. Save and zip the file called “PowerOffWarning .exe” from the windows directory
2. Go to the directory that has your psshutxp executable in it and rename the psshutxp.exe to PowerOffWarning.exe.
3. Zip the new “PowerOffWarning .exe” and skin files into a zip file.
4. Execute the zip file and overwrite the “PowerOffWarning .exe” file in the windows directory.
5. Press and hold your power button and enjoy your new shutdown/reset/screen off options.

NOTE: the only reason I choose to do it on long press is because I sometimes quickly want to turn off my screen when putting the phone back into the case. I dont want to worry or wait for the app to come up and choose an option.

I have attached the two files and they came from a Mogul running WM6.1. If you use these files please backup your device first.

hahahaha i just seen this and thought...hmmm maybe ill cook it in..i look at it tonight...maybe ill bake it in.. going to have holiday pics taking with my girl...but ll be home by 2pm and finishing this rom today...1 way or another.

i cookd this into my rom lastnight b4 posting ... when u want to add skins to the psshutxp just drop them into the WINDOWS folder.

i cooked it in but wont use it....cause i wanted it keyed to power button...psshut only reboots..doesnt really shut down...ill work on this issue....if i figure it out ill build it in until then...it doesnt do what i want...

LMAO! psshutxp never turn the power off... it only turnd the lights off/shut down or soft rest. it does exactly what i want, thats to show off!

hello i was wondering how can i undo this... the only reason why i wanna undo it coz i use the wrong size psshutxp now every time i uninstall the wrong one and do the step by step procedure on the right psshutxp its still showing the wrong size... is there something that i'm missing... any ideas?

lmao boy how your wrong......there is a version that actually shuts phone down now.Its a modded version of pshut.

if u want to take it off for what ever reason just rename the exe and softrest..

Ok I did the map to the Power Button , But here is my question saw in one of Dash's video's he mapped one of the buttons for HardReset how do you do that or remap any for that matter thanks!!!! ?

map a button on PSShutxp. I already mapped PSShutxp to the power button.

i use the diamond psshutxp that kaos sent over to me from xda... if you look there you will find.

Is there a version that "ACTUALLY turns off" your phone or does psshutxp just turn all the lights off?? I have the psshutxp Power Key version but all it does is map the button to psshutxp but doesn't actually turn off the phone!!!

psshutxp is just an app that has the options to turn the screen off, shut down device, or soft reset it... like the on a pc, when you click the shut down tab in your start menu... not sure what the power key version is, but if you do it correctly when the power button is press, and HELD... the psshutxp app opens and you choose which one you want to do... it sound like ur just tappin the power button which will merely turn ur screen off

No, I'm actually holding the Power Button for 2-3 sec. and the psshutXp window pops up and then I hit "Turn off"all it does is turn off my screen!!!

not sure what version your running, but when i activate it... the options I get are 'off screen' , 'shut down', 'soft reset'... no turn off... I suggest you search the site and download the psshutxp (qvga version since you have the touch) and try it again

Actually I have the Touch Pro just didnt update phone model!! I got the diamond version psshutxp, black skin!
