Default Turning on or soft reseting = bootloader screen

Each time I turn my Vogue off then on it loads into the bootloader screen. Also when i soft reset. I tried loading the stock rom from htc website and it still does it. Used cokeman's unlocker .40 to relock and titan_exitbl as well. Always does the same thing.

Anyone have any idea of how to stop this from happpening?

I tried reflashing the stock rom from the htc website. I unlocked with coke 2.31 and flashe stock then unlocked with coke.40 then flashed stock again.

the only way to exit the bootloader is to tack out the battery and connect it to power source, then put the battery back in. As well as simply putting in the headphone/mini usb jack and doing a soft reset(quickest way). I dont want to be caring the jack around just so i can soft reset my device. I might lose it.

never heasrd of this happening and def shouldnt be doing so after a hard reset and flash..... i would take it into your service providers store with the stock rom on there and show them whasts going on..... sounds like a problem with the phone is going on...... also what radio is on your phone? it will be found in red when your phone is booting up on the bottom right corner after the R :

the radio is 3.42.30. I have no service on the phone(trying to get the esn added to metropcs in LA area). Got it from my uncle who took it away from my drugee cousin. Read on another forum that the source of the problem has somethin to do with the usb pins or somethin. I really dont like carryin my headohine/mini jack around. I kno ill eventually lose it.

not without getting a new port..... you could use a magnifying glass and try to straighten them out but prolly will be hard to do.

Is it a bad idea to leave my memorystick inside while i flash different roms or upgrade? Read that was bad probably the reason.

Also what do i need to send my phone to HTC. I think i might still have the warranty with them.

what carrier do you have? if it still works but acts funny get insurance on it... you don't need a receipt. Once insurance kicks in swap it. or take it in to a repair center an just pay for the service.

so you dont have another cell phone in service or anything? flashing to metro aint going to do you any good if you dont have service already with them.

plenty of people have had their vogue flashed to Metro. Some do it by going around to different stores and askin if they can get their esn added t thier database or by simply changin their esn. And ea i used to have a motorola w385 on metro but got washed and broke but i can still get service on it from metro and change my esn if i want. ut for some reason my touch is bein a stubborn piece of crap and keeps declinin the esn when i was tryin to change the esn.
