[HELP] Is it possible to change the color when you select something on a touch pro

Let me get a little more specific. I would like to see if I could change the color that comes up whenever you select something on the touch pro. Right now the selection turns green. I would like for it to turn red to go with the rest of my carbon theme with red notification bubbles and red volume meter. Hopefully I have explained myself well enough. Thanks in advance.

if you look in the carbon threads first post you will see a red to green cab.

Yeah I did that but what i am talking about are for the other screens out of touchflo, like programs, settings, and especially the dialer which uses green to highlight my selections. I know I can change most things except the dialer in the today screen by selecting guava bubbles which makes the highlighted color red but then it also changes the top and bottom bar to red. i would like to be able to do it without changing the two bars and make the dialer highlight in red instead of green. Is this possible?

it would all consist of going into the registry and making the necessary tweaks to the colors and for the ones that dont have the color change stats you would have to make custom images/backgrounds for than overwrite the originals.

well that sounds craptacular. I was hoping it would be something simple. I thought I almost figured it out last night by selecting the guava bubbles theme, but it gave me those ugly red top and bottom bars and didnt change the green in the dialer. Oh well, i will keep trying to look around. I did see on the xda site that they had a black dialer and used a grey color to highlight your selections when it shows ur call history while the dialer is open. thanks for the help dash, if you come across anthing please let me know. Btw, I had a sprint rep come by my studio the other day to drop off a phone for the host of a show i produce. I was tempted to show her my phone so she could see what a good phone really looks like. hehe.

ya you should... youd be surprised how few of the reps know what the phones are really capable of... every person that sees mine thinks im a genious and i just read here on Wckediden... ive told sooo many bout the site!!!

yeah that dialer has all the tweaks already built into it through the registry and all.... basically all a cab does it tell all the files where to go and makes the registry changes wrote into it.... so if it has the image files in the cab and they need to go to the windows folder and overwrite, it will automatically both bring them over and overwrite them so you dont have to do it manually. if you take a cab file apart using winrar you will see different files inside. each one of those automatically goes somewhere and if they didnt you would be stuck doing it manually.

well i will see what i can do. if nothing else maybe i can install that dialer and then use the carbon buttons. at least the grey highlighting will compliment my program better. I also went into the today settings and changed to classic black (hibby's rom). that left the top and bottom bars black and everything else gets highlighted in grey. big improvement. thanks again. just heard jessica simpson just got here and is being interviewed in our country station down the hall. gonna go check it out. hehe

hehe. she was wearing some big green poncho thing but she did have some really high heeled boots on. she was surrounded by her handlers. One of the guys took a pic with her but it was from too far away (stupid Iphone) lol.

Couldn't he change the highlight colors by using a new .tsk file? Just got the touch pro so i'm not sure if that works but it would be some good info to know...damn i feel like a noob all over again :-)

for the drop down yes but not actually on the screens of touchflo.... those are manila files.
