USB Device Not Recognized
I've searched many forums and have tried everything and I still get the "USB Device Not Recognized" message, every time I plug in my Mogul. I un-clicked "Enable advanced network functionality." I deleted everything on Activesync and have the current version. I even tried plugging the micro-usb into one of the splitters like someone suggested. What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do? I need to figure out how to do this so I can upgrade from R 1.32.00 to something more current.

Re: USB Device Not Recognized
Is there a site to download the drivers? I took my old Mogul to Sprint because it was broke and they screwed me over and wouldn't replace my mogul even though I have insurance. I got mad and accidentally left the box there and took the phone home. I went back and it wasn't there anymore. My other Mogul had a more recent OS so I never synced it to the computer. Long story longer, I bought one off of a friend and there is no CD.

Re: USB Device Not Recognized
The firewall isn't up and both Activesync and Easysync will not connect. I am running XP so Activesync is the correct program for me to be using. I'm going crazy not being able to upgrade my phone.

Re: USB Device Not Recognized
Sounds like it is your phone not activesyn take it to sprint tell them it wont syn and ask them to try it there. If it dont work and you pay insurance they should replace the phone they did it for me with my 6800.....

Re: USB Device Not Recognized
You know you can upgrade your ROM without using activsync. You can flash via SD card:)

Re: USB Device Not Recognized
I'm going to go to Sprint tomorrow and see if they can actually help me this time. In the likely hood they won't be able to, I am starting to research how to flash with an SD. Thanks to all.

Re: USB Device Not Recognized
Great, the pins were messed up on my last phone and Sprint wouldn't replace the phone because it was "physical damage." What's the point of paying for insurance if it doesn't cover when you need it. I only payed $60 for it so if I can just flash it to Windows 6.1 I will be happy.
From my understanding, searching and reading; I can just load the new ROM from the HTC site to my SD card and then run it from there? |

Re: USB Device Not Recognized
hey Kaos... that microwave sh*t really work?... I know a lil off topic... but wont it melt the casing some, thus being physical damage that they wont cover?
I mean I aint tryna do it... but it could be handy for future reference... |
